Who is Shelly "respected" by? His peers? Thats great, but that doesnt mean he can draw dick. Al Snow is "respected" but how many world titles has he won? NONE. Know why? Because when you go to see a match at MSG back when he was working a regular schedule for the WWE, you wanted to see The Rock vs. Steve Austin, or HBK vs. Austin not Al Snow vs. The Rock. Respect from you peers DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN DRAW A DIME and therefore DOES NOT MEAN YOU SHOULD GET A PUSH!!! They are not over with anyone other than themselves and their friends and the so called "smart fans". How many of the TNA locker room buy TNA PPVs? How are their buyrates doing as far as TNA PPV? SHIT!!!! And its not because "Alex Shelly is being misused" because the fans dont give a fuck about him. If they cared, he'd be getting a push. You dont push guys the fans dont care about. It's been tried over and over again and it's failed everytime.

I think that Shelley does deserve a push, he was pretty over with his paparazzi gimmick, but nothing else was done afterwards so it just blew over... Sharkboy is a comedy character and he's a comedy character I enjoy, he was pretty over when he was tagging with New Jack... :p But as Kaedon says, TNA is a business, they need to push more recognizable wrestlers, wrestlers known to mainstream fans and unfortunately it means, the Stieners, 3D, Angle, Cage... If I had my way I would make Christopher Daniels the 3rd triple crown champ by making him win the heavyweight div, or give Samoa Joe the win over Angle, hell I would even give Shelley, Sharkboy or Dutt the x-div title but TNA has a business to run and you need to make decisions which may not be popular with the fans who also follow the indy scene so that you can get a bigger demographic. Well I really hope with the 2 hour show coming up, things work out for MCMG, LAX and Dutt...

these guys need to hang on for a couple more weeks.....see how they're utilized on the two hour slot and then go from there....I don't expect booking to improve too much but mroe exposure would definetly be a plus from this

I think part of the problem is TNA not allowing other wrestlers to wrestle in other promotions. I mean a lot of these guys were doing ROH and other stuff, but when they said stop you can't do that...the MOrale went to the toilet b/c they rely on these other incomes to keep them afloat, and when you see these names their not on TV every week, and don't get paid. So I really don't blame them for wanting to leave.

I understand that they could do some promotions, but these wrestlers want to pick and choose what they want to do and for the right price.

From a business perspective, I totally agree with TNA not allowing wrestlers under contract to them to work for other companies who are either on TV or are releasing DVDs.

If you are a mojor promotion allowing your wrestlers to regularly wrestle in other promotions can create problems, take Ricky Banderas for instance, he got injured in an AAA show...
