Misawa's first ROH match announced!

Ring of Honor announced Mitsuharu Misawa will team with KENTA vs. Takeshi Morishima & Naomichi Marufuji on 11/2 in Philadelphia, PA at the National Guard Armory.

So he won't be wrestling any actual ROH talent >_>

Can't say i didnt see this coming. Certainly Misawa feels more comfortable with the noah wrestlers, and should be a classic. But 11/3 will be the big match, in my estimation. Gabe already said Joe isn't a option. The only 3 fitting opponents i can see now is: Danielson, Morishima, and Joe. I think Nigel is a long shot. Morishima would be the least risky pick. Hopefully Danielson is healthy by then. And if ROH can snag Joe, that would be crazy.

Can't say I'm suprised he's working with NOAH guys on the first night. He'll probably have a go with a Danielson (if he's healthy), Morishima, Mcguiness, or someone along those lines the second night. Either way both matches will be very good, maybe excellent.

Misawa is getting up there in years, but he can still pull out an excellent match when it counts, and thats all I expect from him at this point in his career.

That's right, Misawa will NOT face any ROH talent in either of the two shows. Wonderful!

Geez....I'd rather see Morishima vs Misawa and Kenta vs Davey Richards. I wonder when those two will face off.

Im thinking Danielson vs Misawa will happen on night 2, at least I hope it does. Then since Kenta and Marufuji are in town you know there is going to be some serious awesomeness taking place.

Kenta vs Davey Richards would be awesome, we all know they would kick eachother till there is blood in their stools lol.

Marufuji could possibly challenge Morishima for the ROH world title.

I dunno whats gonna happen for sure, but im definitely buying the dvd the day it comes out.
