i was just over at WWE.COM and i knew it had to be due to his name being on the list that he lost title this quickly. he won on sunday and to lose within a week is funny unless something was up.

Well, this is kind of bittersweet. I'm ecstatic to see Punk finally get a title. But at the same time, after 3 PPVs of succesfully defending the belt, its kind of a spit in the face of the fans (particulary the internet ones), to have Morrison just "randomly" drop it on the TV show. Now, of course as stated this is because of the suspension, but they could have at least had a quick segment where Morrison is attacked or something, gets injured, and is forced to vacate the belt. Then we could have had the main event be Punk vs. Burke, with Punk winning that way.

I wonder what will happen on Raw/SD though? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
