I screwed up the cut by doing the outline highlights. Thanks for your honsety hope it's not cuz you don't like her. Was a first run. I'll try again later. The text is actually the charmed text but mehh.

I really dont care, just dont do that, just say you need to work on some things. The b/g is the worst to me, but its the thought that counts. Im sure you'll get better.

The cut is actually one I made and is better but I did something to the edges when I was messing with it and it came out difussed. The bg yeah sucks but I am not that great at making them. lol Thus why I am asking for comments and such. lol Thanks Peepshow.

I really don't care for most of the ratings on this forum. Every banner gets at least a 7/10 even the horrible ones. I understand i was harsh but im just cancelling out all the lies that he will get saying his banner is a 10/10

I wasn't meaning you directly. I meant in general as for some reason in wrestling most ppl don't like Melina. Anyways I didn't even except a 10 or any ratting just wanted a comment and thanks for your comment. lol

Ok, for the backgrounds, I am not great either by any means but I am improving. For the backgrounds you need to look at some tutorials, they are all over. You can find them on different GFX Forums, or GFX websites. Like I said they are all over. A couple you might want to look into is learning to effectively use brushes. Then you would also want to find a vast selection of different brushes to make some backgrounds with. Brushes are all over too. But don't limit your backgrounds to brushes. There are many other programs out there that will help in creating some really crazy 3 dimensional backgrounds. It just depends on your style. As for you cut, yeah, its bad. And you said you knew that. Check out some PSD sites, they have pre cut images. That way you dont have to spend all day cutting, some crazy master cutter has already done that for you, lol. But if you cant find the one you want you are left with cutting anyway I guess. The text, ehhh, its "ok" at best. Fonts is my biggest problem. Also, possibly, if you were to make them smaller, it would help out. Because having it big, you are almost always left with open blank space, unless your making a collage. But that way there is less boring areas. Hope that wasnt too harsh. lol. I tried to be nice, its just that does need a lot of work...

Was that your first banner? What program you used?

To improve yourself, i think you need to be more creative, open minded by imaging what suits what in your signature.
Try getting pre-cutted psds from psdprotocol.com as you are not good in cutting psds by yourself. Try use brushes instead of basic effects applied on bkg.
Now for text, go to deviant art site as an example to get some cool font from there.

Another advice, dont use bevel effect on your main psd.

Thanks guys and I use adobe Photshop. The cut is actually better but I did an effect on the layer and that's why it came out blah!! I'll look inot everything everyone told me.
