I saw a Vince Russo interview on youtube about how sports entertainment saved wrestling. And that if it werent for people like Russo (entertainment writers) then wrestling would be dead, and if people like Mike Tenay (people that like talented wrestling matches) were the writers it would of died a long time ago. It is a funny interview, don't agree with it 100% but it makes good points.

And actually, the wrestling promotions do change storylines. When the ratings go down, they change shit up trying to get some excitement to draw back fans. If a person utters the words "Im never watching so and so(in this case TNA) based on a bad show, then to me that counts as him BOYCOTTING it. I guess some people missed my point.. watch wrestling for FUN AND ENTERTAINMENT dont nitpick about stupid shit, because none of our opinions matter to the wrestling writers no matter how much someone complains about how bad WWE is or TNA or ROH or any other promotion out there that i didnt mention, it doesnt matter. Put your keyboard down and stop wasting your time.. read a book.. watch tv.. play a game... go outside...... steal stuff from a store.. do something that actually matters rather than bitch and complain about how bad wrestling is and how you wont watch it again (not directed at anyone in particular using this as an example i said that before too) when in the back of your mind you know you will eventually tune back in! there really is no use in talking about how you would run things if you owned such and such promotion because frankly it doesnt matter, odds are that will never happen (i hope not). do people write on the internet about how bad of a job you do at your occupation or how they would of done things totally different? chances are they dont..if you are a true fan you will watch and if you dont watch well you are only deleting another entertainment outlet, an escape from reality
