Holy crap..I'm usually pretty nice about things but this has to be the most horrible predicition of a Mania card I have ever seen..ever. I'll point out several major flaws with this card so hopefully you won't make the same mistake in the future.

1. HBK as IC champ? Don't you think HBK is a little above the IC title at this point. The guy has stated he doesn't even want the world title, what makes you think he would want to cart around a title that means nothing to him.

2 Jesse and Fetus vs the Major brothers?: Do you honestly think anyone would want to buy a PPV with these teams on it? They wouldn't even make the card for heat let alone the biggest event of the year. Futhermore, Neither will even be around come Mania.

3. Melina vs Torrie Wilson? Knowing the WWE this would probably happen.

4. Visceria? Come on now...Do you honestly think Big Daddy V and his Big Daddy Tits will make Mania? The dudes been jobbed out so much over the passed 10 years he is lucky to still have a job.

5. No Orton? Are you assuming Orton is going to be fired or something. You think the guy who headlined SummerSlam will be left off of the Mania Card completely the same year? the guy is the top heel on Raw.

As much as i hate your sig, and Cena mark hates the card, i actually theres some strong points, that he didnt account for. #1 i like it because its something card. Matchups, i've never really thought of.

The postives....two solid main events. Those are the odds on favorites i think.

- Kennedy vs HBK fued would be AMAZING, belt or not.

- MVP vs Jericho would be awesome as well.

- MITB would be another incredible match, personally i think card looks better than wm 23.


I also didnt mind Monkeystyles card. Those are four solid matchups to build around i think.

Here are my crazy predictions:

Raw Main Event: John Cena (c) vs. Mr. Kennedy (as a tweener maybe) or Lashley - This year, a Raw superstar should win the Royal Rumble and Kennedy and Lashley are my pick for it.

Smackdown Main Event: Edge (c) vs. Matt Hardy - I know this one is insane! but I do really want to see a Hardy/Edge match in WM24. Since Hardy is one of the fastest rising star today (as JBL said), how 'bout giving him a push to the main event level and have a fued with Edge for the title at WM24

ECW Main Event: Marcus Cor Von/John Morrison (c) vs. Jeff Hardy/CM Punk - The first ever ECW championship in a WM event should be a historic and I've thought of this match.

Legend vs. Legend Killer Match: Randy Orton vs. Ricky the Dragon Steamboat - I know the Dragon is currently a WWE Road Agent, but I don't know if he can still wrestle.... This match should be great IMO....

Ric Flair's Last Match: Hmmmm... how 'bout a Ric Flair vs. Rhodes???

Another insane match! Chuck Palumbo vs. The Great Khali.... idk why do I've thought of this, I just want to see Khali's entrance, riding in an elephant just like what Truth's thread says in the streetfight cat. lol...

well... this are only IMAO... it's okay if u think these matches suck.....

Fine, take away the IC title then, who cares. I was focusing more on the bout. HBK vs Kennedy would be tremendous. HBK was in last year's main event, and has had his time in the spotlight, so putting him mid-card feud wouldn't matter, and would really boost up Kennedy. I also don't think Kennedy should be main eventing period for awhile, let alone main eventing Mania. Too many times we see guys pushed too quick, and it doesn't work (see Batista at first, and Orton at Summer Slam 2004 for a great example of what specifically I'm talking about).

Rubbish. The tag scene is dead, and they need all the tag teams they can get their hands on. And you do realize that not every single match on ANY card, even Mania, is going to be stellar, or even something you'd buy the card simply for. Even Mania 17, my favorite Mania, had filler stuff like the RTC tag match, etc.

4. Visceria? Come on now...Do you honestly think Big Daddy V and his Big Daddy Tits will make Mania? The dudes been jobbed out so much over the passed 10 years he is lucky to still have a job.

Rumors say he's getting a push big time in ECW, and I don't think WWE will be having Morrison vs Punk forever as a main event. Also, considering they have yet to push ANY former ECW star (Sandman, Dreamer, etc) with the exception of RVD (who was over in WWE anyway since his debut in 2001), I don't see anything else credible for a main event in ECW, unless they get some new stars over there, or a transfer from Raw/Smackdown.

I forgot about him. Fine, have him go up against Finlay in a cross-promotional match. And I don't know about him being top heel. That's all a matter of opinion. I'd lean more towards Booker T simply because he's going to be thrown intoa feud w/ Triple H.

I'd love to see that personally, but I don't see Triple H not headling Mania this year against Cena, and I can't see Flair main eventing Mania either (nor should he).

JOHN CENA VS MR KENNEDY:This match will be a dream to me, my favorite wrestlers in the main event.
another option. JOHN CENA VS TRIPLE H (2): 2 years later than the first match in WM22, same that the rock vs austin(first in WM15 and later WM17).
TRIPLE H VS LASHLEY: I hate lashley but is a possible, probably the game wins the title over cena or orton and retains until WM24, and lashley wins the RR, and challenge the game in WM24.

I stole this from another forum. It basically sums up where the road to wm is at today. I'll add more onto my thoughts later.


Officially , the road to WrestleMania starts at the Royal Rumble , but I for one think it actually started at No Mercy , let me explain.

On the Raw side of things , No Mercy was the place where a new WWE Champion was crowned . Randy Orton was handed the title , after Cena's injury and the wrestler that would challenge Orton that night , out of all the wrestlers , was Triple H , a sign of things to come IMO . From Cyber Sunday , till WM , Orton and HHH will never go one on one . Orton will be in a long feud with HBK , this will keep him busy untill the Rumble . Meanwhile Triple H will be feuding with Vince and some mid carders , Umaga , Carlito .
Now , I think WWE could consider 3 main events for WM , but in all of them , Trips is a lock . The obvious choice would be him winning the Rumble , setting up Orton/HHH for WM , or if they want to do something fresh they could go with Trips winning the title from Orton before WM and then face either Y2J or Kennedy (potential winners of the Rumble) .

SmackDown!

The Main Event for SD! must have the Undertaker in it and the only one that i could see him face is Edge , I'd say it's a long time coming . They won't do another Taker/Batista match at WM , cause they already restarted their feud . They have starded as building Taker as the biggest threat for the belt , he put over Batista at Cyber Sunday , only for Edge to look strong after he wins the belt from Dave , my money is on him regaining the title after an Elimination Chamber at Armageddon , they could easily go with a Taker/Edge feud from there , knowing what happend some months ago , when UT got injured and Edge used his MITB .

Money In The Bank

Only 3 options here . One is MVP , the guy improved a lot this year , he was in the biggest mid card feuds , with Benoit and now with Matt Hardy , that and his mic skills make him a great potential MITB winner .
Punk is to much of a big star to be keept on ECW , him winning MITB would be a good way for him to make the step to Raw or SD!
Y2J , if they don't want to give him a win at the Rumble and put him this fast in the main event of WM , him winning MITB would be a good choice .


In Conclusion , from now , till the Rumble , big things happening are unlikely . On Surviror Series we have those 5 on 5 tag matches , the titles are not usually defended and then we have Armageddon , not really a PPV you would expect big things to happen .
So WWE has 2 1/2 moths of slow build-up for WM and then they can shift it in the next gear afther the Rumble .

As it's for rumours, I have heard there will be HHH vs John Cena II at WrestleMania 24 also Mr.Kennedy vs Batista vs Undertaker vs Edge for the World Championship; The Match I would pay to see will be the Money in the Bank! Hope they can get Jeff Hardy to win the Match and then Cash in the Money in the Bank later on to give Hardy the BIG "push"
