Me and peep talked on AIM and both agreed on a subject...Hardy Boyz/Edge and Christian.........I get HB he gets E&C....

Ok, I think as you all know and saw, I will choose Edge and Christian, and not just becasue I'm biased. I will tell you why I think E&C are better overall in my opening statement.

E&C dont just have the second most WWF World Tag Team Title reigns for no reason at all. Its not just b/c Vince McMahon saw something and wanted to make them that way. Its for a reason, and not just one, but several. Edge and Christian do not only have better mic skills, but way more charisma and "ring savy" than the Hardyz do. While the Hardyz may have more Athletic ability, that doesnt mean they are better overall by any stretch of the imagination. I know that being involved in 2 matches of the yr in back to back WrestleMania's may mean something, but to come out on top in both means something. The Hardyz lost both of those matches. Wrestlemania is the grand daddy of them all. The Hardyz just couldnt get it done when the big time came.

There are many other reasons, but lets here V1's take on why the Hardyz are better. This should be good.

Ok Sure Edge and Christian had a better gimmick and better mic work.....But The Hardyz had to of been the most new,fresh and original Team to ever enter WWE...theyre style of wrestling was like somthing we havent seen before in the WWE....The Hardyz are most likley one of the most over WWE tag teams ever and still are to this day...which is somthing that Edge and Christian cannot say....

You talk about the TLC and Triangle ladder matches...you talk about how E&C won both of them....But what do you remember more from those matches?? Do you remember the fact that E and C won or do you remember the countless insane stunts that Matt and Jeff did?? Even if you look at it from a historic point of view....In history are we going to remember the fact that E and C won or are we gonna remember that Swanton off the Ladder to the floor? Or the Huge bump that Matt took??? Sure E and C at the time may have had more title runs and all that bleh...but overall....Matt and Jeff have made way more of a mark on the WWEs legacy..

Well no shit sherlock. They are called FACES. I know Heels can be over as well, but in general, FACES tend to be over way more than heels. Im not arguing with you that the stunts in the TLC matches werent good and wont be remember, but IMO, I will remember it more for Edge and Christian winning. Now maybe thats b.c Im a huge fan, but hey, thats just me. Like I said, another thing is just overall. While Matt and Jeff, may be more althletic, Thats about the only thing they are better at. E&C cant help it b/c they erent blessed with the same genes as Matt and Jeff

As I said in the first post, E&C just had more charisma, more success, obviously. But one thing stands out more for me than anything else, their mic work. I know mic work isnt everything, but its a big, BIG factor in becoming a great tag team, just like E&C. Matt and Jeff just arent in the same boat with them when it comes to this category. This is the World WRESTLING Entertainment...not the World Entertainment....now I can see from a comedic, funny stand point Edge and Christian were better, but Ill be damned if a couple backstage shenannigins are enough to make you a better team than the Hardyz, two men who have put their bodies throguh any and everything...They have been through it all, everything from sucess,to being fired...and no matter what was happining in their carrers at the time, they kept coming out and giving 110% for the fans....I dont know about you but I would take a great match over a funny segment in Wrestling anyday.....I can see if we were deating who would make a better sitcom, or a comedian..but this my friend, is Wrestling and although Entertainment is a huge part.....Wrestling comes first....Edge and Christian can put on all the Funny segments they want but that is nothing compared to all of the memorable moments the hardyz have given us in the ring!!!! Also another point is that Even with the lack of Mic work, Charisma, and Promo skills they still sold a shitload of merchindice (probably the most of any team) and they were still more over than any team I can remember...no you cant tell me that that is incredible..

I understand your case that The Hardyz are highflyers and all, but E&C were in all of those matches as well, I dont think any of you will forget this moment:

Just B/c E&C are not atheltic doesnt mean that they are not better than the Hardyz. Like you said, this is ENTERTAINMENT. What Matt and Jeff do is scripted and done by them b/c they are more athletic. E&C should not be discounted bc/ they are not as athletic.

The point is, E&C are better . Better on the mic. Better in the ring IMO. More charisma. Yes, more Charisma. The Hardyz dont have charisma. They are just over b/c they are highflyers. E&C just have "it", and thats what this debate is about, which is better overall, and cleary, E&C take "it"

The Hardyz didnt NEED Charisma...thats what made them so great.....If you are a team that hasnt cut one promo and yet you are over as hell...then obviously you are great...The only reason Edge and Christian were so over as heels was because they had great mic work and promos...The Hardyz were over because they put on an excellent, new , original show in the ring....That is why they are better....They are one of the only teams to become such a sucess whit nothing to offer but great entertainment in the ring....They have ultimatly paved the way for teams like London and Kendrick...The hardy boys are very likley overall a more popular team than Edge and Christian and they did it all without no gimmicks...no promos...no bullshit....just SKILL.
