Raw got a 2.5 rating. They deserve less. That show was beyond boring. The opening segment was childish, all the matches were squashes or one-sided, the only good match was Mr. Kennedy vs. Bobby Lashley, and the ending to that was even bad. The Cryme Tyme segment that took up what seemed 15 minutes was boring. You can tell they're trying to make it seem more controversial, but they are failing completely.

Almost all the champions are crap and all the feuds are boring

No one cared that Santino beat Umaga with the help of Lashley besides Italians. It would have made more sense to build Santino up, then for him to beat someone in a legit match, like how British Bulldog won his first title against Bret Hart. British Bulldog vs. Bret Hart was a meaningful, emotionally impacting feud. Then Umaga squashed Santino, and again no one cared. The Intercontinental Division hasn't meant anything since Nitro - Hardy, and it remains that way now that Hardy is injured, and they've turned Santino into a total joke. They refuse to push Regal or Shelton into this division either, lol, what a farce. Mr. Kennedy could even use it, but the INT. BELT is viewed as meaningless I guess.

Tag team belts are also a joke, never defended on Raw, never even shown on Raw, the whole division is back to meaningless.

Women's division, lol, Candice, what a joke.

WWE championship belt - it's sad Cena is the only credible champion they can have. Orton is so boring, Mr. Kennedy's gimmick is mid-card at best, same with Carlito, King Booker's heat will be destroyed as soon as HHH comes back and buries him for apparently no reason. Either keep the belt on Cena or change some gimmicks, that's the only option they have. Orton used to put on good matches but they keep making him beat up hasbeens, which is turning him into Blandy Boreton again.

There have been NO impactful feuds, nothing that makes you go by the end of the feud 'Wow, that impacted me emotionally.' LOL @ the fact that the three best feuds in the WWE are the rightful King feud, John Morrison vs. CM Punk, and Matt Hardy vs. MVP. What a joke WWE has turned into. I'm glad their ratings are going DOWN!

ha, Blandy Boreton... never heard that before rep +. anyways, i know exactly what you mean... people say ratings don't equal quality, but they damn sure reflect upon it. Like you said they're trying to make things controversial, but failing miserably. instead of having controversial endings they need controversial storylines; which they have none of right now... you could go on for hours on how WWE could improve, we all know they should improve, and they definitely could improve... I'm out of words that rhyme, but what I'm getting at is they're not showing any signs of improvement, and until they do they're going to get worse and worse

^^ btw, what's TNAs average rating?

1.0 ... 1.1?

Yeah, there's just not that much to get excited about right now, and it's not like they're putting on great matches outside of the storylines. 2.5 though, isn't that like 1.0 lower than it was just last week?

Yeah Jabroni, that's what happens when you hate WWE.

Orton is far from boring, maybe repetitive, but when he is at a top feud, that changes everything.

Mr. Kennedy having a mid card gimmick, that just makes me guess you never watched Smackdown.

King Booker heat will not be killed just for a loss, if the heat was lose by losing, he would have lost it long time ago.

If you think that the king's feud is one of the top feuds, we shouldn't even be discussing.

And the whole point of Santino winning was to have a FAN beat Umaga, if he was built as a wrestler then why the hell do Santino would exist, any other in the roster could have done it.

You said WWE is joke. What, do you prefer to see Kurt Angle being dumped in TNA by his wife and telling how a bad father he is. Maybe you should stick with your porn.

You make some good points, however I disagree with you about Orton. My beef with the WWE however goes beyond what happens on each brand. Basically, it IS the brands that are causing WWE to go somewhat down in the dumps.

The brand split needs to end, period. When you have no less than 3 brands, as the WWE does, the mediocre talent just becomes so obvious. Ditch the sub par talent, combine all 3 brands, and go accordingly. Have a WWE title, an IC title (that actually means something), tag titles, and maybe a cruiser title. I think the quality of the product would increase, essentially by default if they did this. Just my 2 cents.

The wwe is getting a 2.5 for two reasons in my opinion. 1) Its the same old...shit. They arent doin anything different, and im not talking about cena. But theres nothing original. Everything they are doin now, they've done in the past. It worked in the past, but theres only so many times you can do it. 2) they are pushing guys who arent over. Cena, Batista, Lashley, they are popular, but they arent accepted by EVERYONE. The fans dont care about these guys, and i think thats one big reason. HHH realizes this and thats why he wants the belt. Only problem is, the fans dont care about HHH anymore either. Raw is still entertaining, but its just stale to me personally. NO its not at its worst ever. I thought 94, and 2003 or whatever year goldberg was there were worse. I think the injury bug has hurt them too. But its more clear now, that there is three brands.

The wwe cares more about money too, i think that may eventually be there downfall. Its not a bad thing, but when you are a monopoly, you gotta realize, your product is more important than how big your profit margin is.

Thats my rant on the wwe. Dont take me wrong with the fans dont care for cena, lashley batista. But there is a certain emotion, that takes time to build. So i feel liek these guys arent related to their fans enough.

I agree with Montana in some points, but I think HHH do care to many many fans, the good thing about him is that he is over with the kids, the old casual fans and the Cena, Batista lovers.

What happens is that as for example Lashley isn't as over as Jeff Hardy, they just can't push Jeff Hardy to a title, he was being pushed slowly to the top and see what he does, he gets suspended.

Flairforthegold, I believe this is the second thread that I've heard you say that in. haha, you must really hate the three brands.

I think the problem with WWE is that they are so concerned with their PPVs (there's so many I can't even keep track), that they forget about having quality matches on their TV shows. They just use the TV time to build feuds. Now I have no problem with them building feuds (of course it's a necessity), but WWE is just becoming boring and repetitive. I will agree that they care more about profits than they do quality.

I have said it time and time again, and I will say it again...Wrestling Ratings mean nothing. Ratings are a sign of widespread popularity, thats all. Raw receiving a low rating doesn't mean they put on a horrible show, it just means they're not as popular as they once were. I didn't watch RAW this past Monday, but I checked out a replay after I was told is was a good show. IMO RAW wasn't very bad at all, in fact it was one of the best RAW's I have seen in a while. Sure you can make the argument of "WWE is at an all time low" But if you look at the bigger picture, overall the wrestling industry is at an all time low. Wrestling has been receiving bad publicity. Their is so much controversy at the moment including drug abuse, Death, etc. The fact is, we are all overly critical at times, we need to enjoy wrestling for what it is and stop making everything a competition.

i agree that ratings isnt a HUGE deal in the wrestling world...esp when they have 3 shows on a week and TNA is on one day a week and not when wwe is. however with the amount of money and talent that wwe is they can put on definately much better products then they are. Raw isnt bad for the amount of talent that is out injured or hurt, but they need to start pushing the younger stars and new gimmicks...or atleast new people and let them be themselves. wwe needs to get rid of the "hollywood" writers and lets the wrestlers prove themselves and amaze us fans. if they dont then they shouldnt be out there. Smackdown i think has improved...or improved when they had the draft and got killed with talent and then edge added freshness....they are now hurting a bit..but arnt that bad..i jus personally dont like Batista and Khali...i think Matt Hardy and Kane should be runnign that show. ECW has been the best of all three i think however they are super thin on talent and desperately needs more...i am a huge punk mark but im getting bored of him hitting the g2s on burke and winning in the main event...and then not winning the title...dreamer has talent and should be fueding with ANY new talent in a ":new school vs heart of ecw" idea...that has tons of emotion if done right....

in the end wwe's problem is not listing to the fans...and become to bland with crappy hollywood writing...

Haha, yeah I do hate the three brands at this point, sometimes I just voice my opinion on it too much I guess. I didn't when they first were introduced, but by now they have just prohibited good talent from getting over, and thrown too much crap talent into the mix.

Good points you made on the PPV's.
