One complaint i've been seeing from wrestling fans, is that there is a lack of "entertainment" It just long wrestling matches. Which makes me wonder, are these people saying this ever seen a full ROH Show? The shows are generally chalked filled with Promos and even some comedy matches once and a while. Losing Colt Cabana was a big blow to their comedy aspect, but they still have a few good wrestlers that can do a comedy style match. If you've never seen one, heres is a good example. This match is almost all comedy, BUT some matches feature only a few minutes

With Steen, Peirce, and Delirous, is that enough to carry the comedy matches?? They got several guys who can work the mic in my opinion. So do you think ROH has enough Entertainment. It seems like the perfect amount to me. 3-4 promos per show, and a comedy match to start the show.

Like I said, Im new to ROH, but what Ive seen so far, they arent doing to bad. I havent seen any real recent matches, but it seems pretty good to me.

Have to agree with Montana. The biggest misconception is that ROH is about matches that make no sense. More often there's buildup and a reason for each match. The difference is the wrestlers are allowed to tell their story in the ring.

Guys like Steen, Delirious, El Generico and Hero can put on entertaining/comedy matches, and they can turn around and give you some great wrestling... There's no lack of entertainment in ROH, it just isn't the focus of the product, the wrestling is. I dare anyone and everyone to watch a FULL ROH SHOW, and tell me that they weren't entertained.

im very new to ROH too but i just watched the PPV on DM and they had amazing matches, a few good promos. good build up to the ME. it was all done almost perfectly. they could talk to Kennedy, Punk, MVP, and several others when it comes to promos but the promos werent all that bad. Overall, very entertaining.

In my opinion, When someone says ROH has a "lack of entertainment" (Kaedon) They have either never seen a full Ring Of Honor show, or a huge WWE/TNA fan trying to come up with a legitimate argument as to why the company they love is superior to ROH. Everytime someone bashes ROH they always use the "lack of entertainment" argument, I know I'm not the only one who has noticed this.

Its the same thing with CZW, I will admit to being overly critical on CZW's product at times...but Its actually not as hardcore or "Ultraviolent" as some of us believe.

If you want WWE sports entertainment, ROH isn't it. It's a wrestling promotion, that's what they said from day one. I think it's entertaining, I guess if you want to compare it to something, I guess they do it Japanese style. It's Where the guys are treated as athletes, not entertainers and they're taken seriously.

ROH first priority for there shows is professional Wrestling and Putting on the best wrestling matches that North American Have yet to see.

WWE first Priority is be Entertainment......

ROH Aim is very different and it's the alternative of the Mainsteam wrestling.. I have watch nearlly all ROH shows from 2002-2005 a few 2006 still collecting and it's an awesome company...

Colt Cabana would of been an huge lost for it entertainment view and wrestling too... I am currently Up to his feud with nigel mcguiness and there matches are about 3.5 star ratings..

but i have nearlly the whole Colt/Homicide feud... Man there promo were awesome and off the hook and alot of there matches were really good....

YOu see WWE are promoting KHali Vs batista and basically it is shithouse feud and the Match of course will be terrible and will barely go past 10 mins...

ROH wouldnt do this because there fans wouldn't wanna see.. I only started to watych ROH full shows since it inception because that's how i am when i get into a company..

Since 2002-2005 I probabaly have seen some of the greatest Matches of my life or within a few years...... Something WWE 2006-2007 Hasn't done for me at the moment. (yeah there been some wicked matches but yeah not like it use to be and TNA 2007 is starting to become the same)..

For example: The Gen Next Vs Embassy Feud (nana is an good manager one of the best i seen in years, way better than estrada)... PUnk vs Joe saga fucking off the Hook, Homicide Vs Corino, 2nd city Saints vs The proschey, Samoa joe World Championship reign is probabaly the Most impressive World Championships reign since Austin 2001 or Bret Hart WWE World championship Reign or even Flair 80's reign..

Samoa Joe 21 month reign owns John cena reign at the moment and it made an true statement and so did Bryan Danielson ROH World Championship reign.

I'm not trying to Bag out WWE..

but ROH 1st priority is excellent professional in ring wrestling than Entertainment but they have the entertainment there... Delirious is one funny Mofo.

while WWE, TNA (i havent watch TNA since June 2007) 1st priority is Entertainment rather than Professional Wrestling.. The wrestling that Bought them to the table...

WWE 96-2004 was an Kick ass time to watch Wrestling during that time...

TNA 2002-2006 was a kick ass period too...

I havent Yet watch an Full CZW, but im unsure if it's going be the style I like.. but i wanna get some FIP, NOAH show DVD in the near future......

yes, I like ROH but I just hate how their are no storylines. I like having great promos and awsome storylines and ROH doesnt have that.

^Since when did ROH have no storylines? You have obviously never watched an ROH show before.

ROH also has about 4-5 guys who can cut great promos, and generally each show does feature about 3 in the ring, and 3 backstage promos. SO obivously you havent seen any of their newer Dvds. Plus their DVDs now come with the Newswire, so its basically brings you up to date with the storylines during the time of the show.

At the moment there are heaps of storylines happening as Montana just stated, the storylines are easy to follow with the Video wires.

There are always about 4 promos per show, which is a good solid number. The wrestlers in ROH are very good at telling a story in the ring, which is what ROH is more about Wrestling.

I could probally go on for ages but basically the only people that say is are the people who haven't seen an ROH show.
