It has come to my attention that on the past few weeks there have been tons of reports of stars asking for their release, and now they have been practically confirmed by an insider, Konnan. What do you see hapening to TNA when, not if, as sooner or later their contracts will run out, they have no midcard?

that remains to be seen, maybe they will actually resign...who knows. I just pray that TNA doesnt go under because all thats going to leave us with is WWE and that would really suck (no offence WWE fans). I know one thing though, if all these wrestlers end up leaving TNA, I guess there is only one last promotion I can watch......

konnan left TNA on a bitter note,so he may be exagerating certain facts, i would understand the frustration of TNA wrestlers in relation to their salaries but the lighter schedule of TNA as opposed to wwe and its tv exposure in relation to other independant promotions makes me believe that top stars will want to perform in TNA and that its future is bright enough.

You know, I would consider this to be a good thing for TNA. Its about time they trimmed their roster down to a workable size and if they lose any big stars well then its about time they showed that they can actually create new stars instead of just hiring them from other companies.

I think people just need to calm down. What happens, happens. People have been saying the same thing about ECW. They arent going to be going anywhere anytime soon, and neither is TNA. I understand that a few people left, but they were major "impact" players on TNA. They are about to get 2 hrs. They are spreading out of Orlando and getting other attention, just wait people, and you will see that TNA is going nowhere anytime soon......

I think it's all starting a shit storm in TNA. ROH is becoming bigger, and everyone who started in ROH wants to go back, ala Joe not resigning. The X-Division might fall apart before anything.

I was saying this 18 months ago. But realistically they should trim the fat, which they have been doin, just not enough. They can easily lose Scot Steiner and Sting. (two big Contracts) Then go down the line, and see who's worth the money, and build the organization around them.

If i was them, and i was in pretty bad financial shape, I'd Lose:

Sting (making wayyy too much money)

Steiners ( too Old)

Bashams (gone)

VKM ( dont get them)

Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal (good talents, but they arent difference makers)

Ravens whole crew.

Tomko

Backland

Brother runt

Thats 15 contracts you can easily lose and look who they still have: Angle, Cage, AJ, Joe, Daniels, Sabin, SHelly, Senshi, LAX, Storm, Harris, Young, Roode, Hoyt, Petey, Rhyno,

Rhyno and Jay lethal are interchangable. Its a judgement call depending on how bad they need money.

Im Assuming they guys asking for releases is: Homicide, Lax and Senshi.

TNA isn't going to be disbanded, anytime soon. People forget how young TNA is as a company. They've only been around 4 and a half years, and are still expanding. They need a 2 hour show as well.

This is nothing like the WCW situation. WCW (by 1999 and on) was run by a bunch of frauds who had abosulutely no idea how to handle a wrestling company, and it was complete chaos. If TNA pushes the right talent and handles the veteran superstars like they should, its going to really compete with WWE in 4 or 5 years.

I agreed with most of what you said...Except...Sonjay, Leathel, Kaz, Bently, and Tomko...there all awsome talents...there just misused...and if used right...they could be very benificial...

I agree with you, but like i said, they arent difference makers, meaning : nobody really turns into see just them. IN a 2 hours timeslot, these guys would be very benficaial, but now they are close to useless. Tomko, Lethal, and Dutt really arent that mis used either right now in tna. But they are close to nothing.

I'd just have to disagree with that you can release Johnny Devine as he has never really had a spot on the TNA roster. But Frankie Kazarian and Matt Bentley are great wrestlers and if they reformed their tag teams they could have a great feud with Shelley and Sabin for the tag titles.

:zoo_taz: That is an awesome smiley!

Anyway, TNA is sucking because they dont know how to book and put on BASIC matches. They are so concerned with being DIFFERENT from the WWE, they are forgetting the basics of wrestling.

Also, I wouldnt get rid of Sting as Angle/Sting would be a "dream match" that would bring almost any fan in for a few peeks.
