Ok will this basically to give the ROH discussion abit of a kick start.

So will i got into ROH when i started hearing about a guy called CM Punk and how talented he was. So i started watching his matches and it basically it just drew me in but as of last couple of months or so i've been really getting into Ring Of Honor buying a fair few DVD's and what not.

On a side note for the people who haven't yet seen Ring Of Honor i highly recommend checking out there first PPV "Respect Is Earned" i posted it in the media section not that long ago.

well, I have read so much about the promotion and its all been good things. In every forum that I go to I never read one post bashing the promotion, it was all positive feedback. I decided that I should check it out and see what all the hype is about so I saw Respect is earned and I finally understood what everyone was raving about. I've already ordered a few ROH DVD's and in probably a month or so you can call me a full fledged ROH and TNA fan, but for right now I am still learning about the promotion and it's wrestlers

CM Punk, that's how... I heard a lot about him and about ROH and decided to watch a couple of matches. The first I saw was Whitmer and Jacobs vs Strong and Evans (From Manhattan Mayhem) and I was hooked, I saw the Punk-Joe trilogy and I've been an ROH-bot ever since.

Simply put, ROH reminded me as to why I became a wrestling fan in the first place.

Yes Thank You CM Punk!!

The Punk/Trilogy was another HUGE factor for me and from that Trilogy i've always been a CM Punk/Joe Mark.

I was watching TNA and then decided to check out ROH as many of my favourite wrestlers in TNA were in ROH first. The first match I watched was Punk/Joe II and I loved it but I am not yet a full fledged ROH mark yet

The little place in the back of your mind that you
I was just look for actual good wrestling instead of watching the crappy WWE days in the 02-03 years and decided to look around, I eventually found ROH and got hooked right away. ROH is great wrestling and they actually are wrestlers instead of sports entertainment.

Unscripted was the first show i saw and it blew me away. Later found some best of collections (paul london, spanky, amazing red). Never really saw more than that for a few years and kind of forgot all about them. A few years later I found a nice place on the i-net to get me better known with the promotion, bought a wack of dvds from the roh site and the rest is history.

When i saw ROH touring and made some awesome matches in Japan. Was awesome.

The big impact about me watching ROH sometimes is for Bryan Danielson, that guy is a real talent

Bought a few VHS's online from various independents which was my first venture into indy-land. One of them was Road To The Title which I was very impressed with. I later got Era of Honor Begins and Round Robin Challenge from my local FYE and then went to my first show at Weekend of Thunder: Night 2. The electricity of the crowd for Liger live got me hooked.

I started to look into it about this time last year, way before Punk made his debut. I heard so much about him in ROH, so I checked it out. I downloaded Punk vs Raven and Punk vs Joe 3 and I was amazed. A few people from another place promoted it alot, I looked into it more and here I am today.

WWE was beginning to bore me with over the top gimmicks (Billy & Chuck, Rico, etc.) and bad wrestling. I started watching TNA and I noticed AJ Styles. I looked him up on the internet and I saw a download link for AJ Styles vs Paul London. I had no clue who London or ROH was but I read some reviews and they were all positive. I downloaded the match, watched it, and the rest is history.

I guess i always thought ROH and TNA were pretty much the same thing, so i never really paid much attention to ROH. I heard ROH was coming to detroit, and was thinknig about going. I pm'd Soulpower and asked if it would be a good show, and he told me to def. check it out. I went, had a blast, and since then i've been very active and been checking out as many old shows as i can. I recently got a stack of dvds, so i got my hands full. But Soulpower is responsible for encouraging me to take a look. Since then, i try and encourage others.

I got into ROH cause of Styles as well. TNA was the first Indy promotion i got into and AJ became one of my favorite wrestlers, while browsing Ebay for some AJ dvds i found his best of from ROH, i bought it and now i cant stop buying ROH dvds.

Until I started working for my wrestling federation I had no idea what ROH was then I started watching random matches to help me train and I saw how good it was and now I'm following it now and also trying to catch up and learn the history.
