Who has the brighter future, Carlito or MVP?

Really tough question here. Both have great characters, great in the ring and the fans love them. They always get a reaction and play amazing heels, but as faces both (we already know Carlito would) would be over. MVP right now is at a higher level then Carlito because for some reason the WWE is crapping on him. Carlito should be close to Main Event already and was getting there but hten dropped down a few notches, now he's losing left and right. If both are able to expand there moveset a bit they'll be in the top 5 best in the ring for present day WWE stars.

One could argue Carlito. He's a 2nd generation superstar, and his mic skills at hte moment are probably a tiny bit better then MVP's. We have yet to see MVP be a face, but Carlito excels and gets over as both face and heel. What he needs to do is bring back Carlitos Cabana, get into a high profile feud and go from there.

One could argue MVP, mainly me. He's got such a great charcter and plays it amazingly. On the mic he's golden, and in the ring he always impresses me and he'll continue to get better. Vince also seems to love MVP and hate Carlito so thats another reason why MVP might have Carlito on this one. MVP has also shown he can carry some good feuds, the Kane program was very good, Benoit thing was very good, his promos during that were real good, and now hopefully it'll be Flair to be his next feud.

Both will be Main Eventers in years to come, but MVP I say will be more sucessful, with title reigns, his in ring ability will top Carlitos, and I think MVP can carry a feud much better then Carlito as Carlitos promos as heel are usualyl one sided. Complaining, insulting his opponent. While MVP's promos are just golden everytime and he's not always talking about the same thing like Carlito.

Carlito lacks passion and is lazy.

MVP is a harder worker i.e he studies tapes from the 80's and wants to get better.

That is the difference between the two which in the end will seperate them.

imo MVP, he just need to add more moves, become from good to great on the mic and some title reign to make him a credible main eventer

Carlito instead is being wasted by WWE

Carlito, merely because he is younger and have more years ahead of him

The WWE are giving MVP a push instead of Carlito because of Carlito's passion of the business. Or should I say, lack of. The WWE put Flair with Carlito to be his mentor of sorts, but that didn't help much...

So I guess MVP has the "Brighter Future", as long as he gets a decent finisher...

Carlito i think could be bigger than mvp. But i think that they can both be huge stars.

MVP over Carlito because I too have been impressed with MVP's abilities. Also because Carlito got rid of Torrie. What an Idiot! lol

imo, Carlito makes a bigger and better heel than MVP. both of them can be the future no doubt but, Carlito's lack of passion is not a very good reason for him to be less than MVP. MVP's gimmick, attire, moves and storylines suck imo.

if there's anyone in the WWE today who needs new moves, its carlito! give him some new tough moves and better feud and he'll snap.

i hope you were just kidding because that was the perfect thing to do with the storyline he was in but that week he said he was getting rid of the trash in his life but two weeks later he's with Jillian WTF?

MVP, i've seen more of carlito bu by what i've seen from MVP he will be way better maybe similar to the Rock when he gets big. A face turn for MVP is weird because his gimmick will be shot, maybe he can pull a Rock again and just be a face, no gimmick needed.

^ Nice post

I think that MVP has a much brighter future. He has passion for the buisness and is overall better than Carito. He has great wrestling abilities that will only get better. He is great on the mic and cuts great promos.

I see lots of potential in Carlito. He is young and is a good entertainer. If he were to have more passion for wrestling then I could definately see him as a main eventer.

Carlito just lacks the passion. I think when the wwe gave him the us title then the ic title on his first nights on smackdown and raw he grew a big head. Thinking he hasnt got to work as hard cause hes a 3rd generation star. Kind of the same attitude orton had before.

Carlito is the better athlete but MVP has the passion that Carlito lost. MVP is currently the US champion, Carlito hasn't had a watchable feud in a long time. Carlito already has been Intercontinental and US champion and hasnt really done much since losing it, he has the potential to become a main eventer but he doesnt put a full effort when wrestling. I've never really seen MVP in a match, so I cant really judge him but from what I know he's a real student of the game.

I still think Carlito has the brighter future because he has experience but he might get released soon if he doesnt get his act together. So MVP has the brighter future.
