1. If Vince did really died do you think they would boardcast it on world wide television..... (they didnt boardcast owen death on Over the edge so why would they do that to Vince).Plus if he was really dead with them showing it all the time... It would get complainets from the parents. Plus i thought in WWEparent site saying they ain't allowed to use death angle...(i.e. BearerGAB 2004)

2. Since they had SD/ECW tapings next day... why they be unable to do it because The Police would of Had to interviews all the wrestlers, road agents, divas, managers, the production crew, mcmahons, medics/doctors, Familys members backstage, legend wrestlers, The Crowd, The sercuity staff, The arena working staff, the other WWE staff, the people that were outside of the building near it...

3. If did really died Do you really think Steph Mcmahon would appear on TV so soon... I think not... WE all saw jeff Jarrett come on TV too soon what it happen.... Steph acting of it was so fake....

4.with there siginicant number of people to be accused... you think there would be more than one Police FBI agent searching it too...

5. What if it was Mr kennedy that did.... Would they send him to jail and court... I don't think so... i think they were going let him off free and how is that going look to the 3-12 yrs crowd.... To me that going make them thinking if you Kill a person your going get off free with out anything.....

to conclude this:::

I hated the angle of the start..... but WWE had alot of error to begin with... i don't think they really thought it threw very well... because as it was portrayed in those 1-2 wks it's look terrible.....

what are you thoughts??? (my own it's probabaly going be 2007 worst angle of the year with along Rosie vs donlad, The Hair Vs Hair angle, Sanitino get championship on straight up debut, Khali main event level status, Vince as Ecw World Champion....

add some other error in this if you want....

im going to say this for the last time, the angle was the GREATEST THING THE WWE HAS MADE in recent history.

1)no one saw it coming
2)it was supposed to be a double whammy. get back triple h and push someone to feud with him.
3)it had everyone on the edge of his seat.
4)it got everyone logging on wwe.com and discussing shit.
5)it was 1 of a kind.

the only flaw was the over reaction with the death like steph's reaction. other than that, i still curse at benoit everyday for the shit he's done. the show should've went on...

They never thought it through properly but it was a good angle and if they had gone through with it properly it would have had no one kill him somebody would have been arrested(linda mcmahon) nad it was going to throw Mr. Kennedy into a major heel status which they now have to work hard on doing hence him blaming everybody for him losing his chance at a world chamionship.

Who the hell cares ?
Its a storyline for christ sakes and it got everybodys attention!
If Benoit hadnt selfishly passed away I think it wouldve put the business into a new level of entertainment.

I liked it for two reasons: I didn't see it coming (who did?) and I would have wanted to see how WWE would handle a whodunit angle.

The biggest contradiction I've ever heard.

So, you don't like seeing McMahon all the time which makes you HATE the angle where they kill him off? That doesn't make much sense to me.

Ever heard of a spokesperson or a lead investigator. Why would they introduce a whole team of characters that aren't going to be used?

Have to agree with you..It got the meidas attention which in turn would get more people to watch. Is'nt that the point of controversy?

i was actually trying to avoid it they talked about this shit non stop and got WAY TO OLD having the video play 3 times a show is uncalled for, use that time for pronmos, now i understand they did it so many times incase people hadnt seen it yet but damn maybe just 1 time a show or sumin idk it just got real old after the next 2nd week for me.

I don't Like seeing the mcmahons except for Shane.. But doing an way over the top ngle like this was distasteful...

if vince did really "Died"... Do you Actually Think WWE would Televised his death worldwide on the program..... Hell No!!...

I woudl see Vince saying he's on Hiatus due to loing his championship that he didnt earned... quoted "it will be a long until you see vincent Kennedy mcmahon again"

Yes It may got media attention.. but for all the wrong reason for the sports of Professional Wrestling....

if you look at the Ratings area
11/6/2007 - 3.8
18/6/2007 got 4.1 Then the week later the Show for chris benoit went back down to 3.8...

the 18/6/2007 was the 1st raw to get 4.0 or higher since april 2 2007... But they couldnt maintain it....

Now you look at ECW

12/6/2007 (the show after raw of vince fake death did an 1.7. (0.3 higher than the week before)
19/6/2007 did 1.6

the really funny thing is since every knew vince died was fake the 26/6/2007 did an 1.78 close to 1.8 ECW best since 21/11/2006.. In which feature the main event of PUnk Vs burke 2/3 falls Match..

but now ecw is back down to 1.5 and get closer to TNA Impact ratings

did it gain more viewers because the Vince thing was stupid???.. i dont know

now Smackdown....

SD 15/6 & 22/6 got 2.4 the 8/6 got an 2.65.. SO did the draft damage SD or Vince death angle i dont know.. but since the end of it SD remains on 2.4..

these ratings are U.S. Base

My source gerweck.net and WIA....

SO it may got media attention from the News.... But It didn't gain fans.. Raw gained a Lil bit, SD lost a bit to start off with and ECW gained than gain more after it was over and then lost the most.....

so to me it looks like 50% cared and 50% of people knew it was Pure Bullshit....

Because No one would televised a real death on TV. Unless the Mcmahons family is that gutless and disrespectful to do it vince... TO be that desperate to gain more Fans.. then it's stupid.

I have heard of an lead investigator.. but it just look silly and cheap him just walking by himself in which when you watch Police tv series or FBI one they got a sidekick/partner with them...

They only ran the angle for 2 weeks. How in the hell are they supposed to get a ratings spike after two weeks. They had just started the angle and then it was abruptly dropped. You can't say it was unsuccessful when it never really got under way.

This isn't the first time they've televised stuff that if it were real, no one else would show. How many times have people been set on fire, thrown off high things, cars wrecked while people were "in them." So what, it's not like they were saying it was real to the media. They know we know it's a storyline. Anyone who believed otherwise thinks everything else is real too.

So, you're saying it's unrealistic to do on tv because that's not how they do it on other tv shows? I'm quite sure detectives and investigators don't always walk around in pairs.
