The "N" Word

Ok there is soo much controversy surrounding this word and IMO its pointless

...Just about 90% of Black people will tell you that they will fuck a white person up if they say the word,I dont get it....It is just a slang for Negro....it dosent mean iggnorant person or whatever the fuck people say...Back in the day the White people used to have their country accents so they transformed the word Negro to N*****.....but thats another story.

Yes this word is bad and it does signify somthing negative,but if Black people were soo offended about it,then why would they call each other it??And even further they think its ok if hispanics use it...This word was used by white to put down blacks back in the day and yet....they call each other by the word like its nothing..

Also...If any black person on the planet said Cracker on TV,Radio,Music,Paper..ect. no one would give a fuck,but if a white man uses the N word or any other simple racial slur,jokingly or not they get their ass chewed out and it basically ruins their life (Ex.Kramer,Don Imus) imo...Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton make it such a big deal that it elevates to the next level...its because of people like that,people that feed it to us,that we have this much trouble....

but the thing is, black guys nowadays dont really care if u used the N word with them. one of my best best friends is black and whenever i see him i tell him: 'supp my smurf? its ok with him....

what piss me off sometimes is how white people react to it. like this guy when he called me a racist . i dont see any problem with the word. it has the same meaning as black! so im allowed to say black and not n****? wtf?

i can understand that the kkk use that word so often but u really have to separate. if my intention was good, im innocent.

also, why isnt it racism when black guys call us white trash? my friends call me that and i dont even think about it as racism! its just that some old black guys are touchy. and some of us white guys are so ashamed of what have we done before to blacks they're trying to clear the image....


ooh yea, if there's any football (soccer) fan here, ull reallize something. the FIFA ( like the board of directors in wwe but in football ) always say that they're against racism yet they are the ones who never award blacks with anything! africans to be exact. its just stupid sometimes...

As a black guy Ill speak on it like this, I have friends of all different colors and if they say it in the right context I dont care, because I know they dont mean anything by it, and they're friends so wouldnt purposely try and hurt me or something. Ive been called it by friends who arent black and they'll be like "sup smurf" and im not offended, when i am offended is when someone I dont know says "******" to me thats an instant way to get your ass kicked. Personally in my everyday life I say it(smurf) often cuz the more you say it the less meaning it has. Thats just my philosophy So to re-cap "smurf" pretty much ok as long as the right person is saying it, "******" thats a sure fire way to get fucked up as far as im concerned. Its all about context, and saying it to the right person. Like my girlfriend now she isnt black and she just doesnt say it because she doesnt feel comfortable, but I wouldnt care if she did say it. I cant speak for every black or partially black or whatever person I can only speak for me. Just my thoughts

I just don't say it anyway i find it offensive to say but if others say it, it doesn't bother me because maybe they were bought up to say it, but if its said to be either joking or serious to or at me then i don't find it funny. It still is a demeaning word that white people (about 400 years ago) used to impower what the white people did.

Yeah, that word can be very offensive. As a blackgirl, I think they need to ban that word. Think about it, if they ban the word. It wouldn't be used, in movies, tv shows or whatever. I never liked that word, sounds disgusting

I use the word smurf from time to time, I don't over use the word but as most of you know I'm a huge Hip Hop fan and most rappers use this word. I do in fact find the word disrespectful if it used in a derogatory was of putting the African American race down. I'm not sure what the hell TDK is talking about, if someone calls you white trash you have every right to be upset and find it racist, the problem is if you don't speak up for yourself nobody will, It just so happens the Black community stands up for itself. I have been called a nig*er by a Caucasian person before, I didn't get angry because I'm a bigger man than that. I just let his ignorance pass me by, he didn't deserve my time. In fact the only way words can hurt anyone is if they let them, I am too intelligent to let something like that bring me down. We all know that racism still exist. If someone calls you a name and you get angry, your only hurting yourself because the person who said the statement wanted you to react that way, so I say ignore it...did that make sense?
