Information on travel packages for Wrestlemania 24 which takes place in Orlando, FL next year are now being circulated by the WWE. Packages include a two day ticket to Universal Studios, where TNA tapes Impact. So if TNA were to tape Impact on Wrestlemania weekend, WWE could be essentially making it possible for fans to go see a TNA show.

IMO, this is yet another stupid moves by WWE. I know many people think that TNA has ever bigger flaws, but right now, I think WWE is gradually going downhill, where as TNA is very, VERY slowly going uphill IMO. This is just my opinion, but I think its pretty stupid to include a damn package to Universal Studios.

What do you think?

I disagree. at this point the WWE has nothing to fear from TNA. Hate on WWE all you want but heres the facts. The fans didn't tune in 2 weeks ago for the draft, but after the "death" of Mr. McMahon, the ratings made a huge jump, even on ECW the next night with people tuning in. Say what you want, but the WWE is appealing to the masses, if anything the WWE has been standing still and is now found away to start climbing again. TNA on the other hand as Bischoff recently said has done nothing. THey don't get it and they are standing still. They will still be standing still a year from now unless they find away to create mass apeal like the WWE does. I don't see that happening.

If they said "HEY GO WATCH TNA" Id believe you. If they tell people NOT to go, they would lose so many ticket buyers. Universal Studios is a big draw im FL and its WAY cheaper than Disney. And where is the WWE paying anyone on this scenario? People are PAYING for WM Tickets and Hotel Packages. Chances are, the hotel gives them away to people who spend X amount of dollars.

^^ I agree, the TNA marks will probarbly say "yeah if TNA had two hours blah blah". WWE isnt paying them to go to see TNA they are allowing them to go to the Universial Studios... where movies are actually made. To be honost if I was visiting Universal Studios and TNA was shooting id go have a look at some of the movie parts as it would be a much better use of my time.

I couldn't have said it better myself.
The sad truth is that unless the majority of television viewers suddenly smarken up. The WWE will remain the dominant brand of wrestling. TNA doesn't appeal to the Chain Gang Generation.

TNA has been standing still? Your kidding right?

TNA gets national television deal
TNA Impact! is moved to Spike
TNA Impact! is moved to Thursday Nights
TNA Impact! goes Prime Time
TNA goes on the road for the first time, to Detroit
TNA Goes on the Road to St.Luis for Lockdown, more than 5 or 6 thousand attended
TNA goes on the road to Nashville where more than 15 thousand attended
Impact! gets over a 1.0 rating as their average
TNA Buyrates continue to increase
TNA may be getting a 2 hour deal for Impact! in the fall

yea TNA really has been standing still huh

actually the AVERAGE Impact! rating is 1.05 or so. They cant even average a 1.1 over how many years on Spike? They are standing still. They are at the same place they are now as they were when they debuted on Spike, only with better talent whom they continue to MISUSE.

-AJ Styles has become little more than a JOBBER since he held the tag belts
-The best tag team in the company was SPLIT UP and the money match was just shit.
-Samoa Joe, while consistantly in the ME scene (along with 500 other people) is now back in the X-Division, at least temporarily.
-Only a select few X-DIvision guys get to showcase their supposed "talent".
-Kurt Angle has been pushed TO THE MOON. Excuse me but isnt he from that crappy promotion you guys are always bitching about? So lets just shit all over the TNA stars and give him, Sting, and CHristian, the belt.
-Abyss' mom, enough said

would you like to me to go on?

-Ok, Abyss's mom was only on there for 1 show. You cant even compare that to "Momma Benjamin", who was on WWE TV for about 2 months......that shit was just plain stupid

-How is Kurt Angle being pushed to the moon. He has always been a main event guy. It took him like 8 months to win it......

-Did you see the Texas Death match......

- How is AJ a jobber. He just won a match 2 weeks ago....lol

-Samoa Joe is in the XDivision again?........thanks for the damn spoilers LOL

How many matches has Angle lost since coming to TNA? Where he has been pinned to the mat or been made cleanly to submit? My last count was around 5, if that. Instead of focusing on MAKING new stars, they are just BUYING up used ones. That can only work for so long.

Oh and tell me, who are the heels and faces in TNA? They simply refuse to book some people as straight one way or the other. Everyone is taking this god awful "tweener" role, which is fine if ONE person or two do it, not everyone. One week the "good guy" is jumping someone else from behind, acting heelish, and next week, he's all of a sudden trying to garner sympathy, its fucking Blue.

Kaedon, couldn't have said any of it better myself. There is a reason why Ron Killings quit TNA. He was a main event star, a TNA original, and he was put on the back shelf to push older stars who are past there prime. You TNA fans puke all over Hogan making a big one match return in WWE for Summer Slam because you know his opponent is doing the job, and Hogan is past his prime. Half of TNA's roster is past there prime and they are going over the young up and coming talent of TNA. The break up of AMW was pathetic. AJ Styles just because he wins doesn't mean he's still not a jobber...perhaps jobber is the wrong term...he is however Christian Cage's lacky. He was the former fucking champion, and now he's a Peep kissing Christians ass...and it was beleivable when he was trying to get a title shot out of Christian, but whats his excuse now?

Why is Somoa Joe, no doubt one of the biggest stars in TNA and home grown nationally by TNA forced to put guys like Sting, and Kurt Angle over who's better years are obviously behind them? And why does Sting squash Daniels in there first match of there fued? Why is the X-Division only over with the fans because one of the biggest and highest paid has beens acts like he's still 18 (ie an idiot) on camera to get the majority of the attention anyways, and how does Bob Backlund defeat Alex Shelly in under 3 minutes....and why does anyone in TNA think we want to see Backlund vs. Nash again more then 10 years later?

I remember an artical I read in PWI years ago, and it said...

I'll give you a list of events and you tell me what promotion and what era it happened in. (This was about 10 years ago)
-Hulk Hogan wins the Main Title in one of his first matches with the company
-He holds it for a long time mainly because he rarely defends it.
-Hogan loses the title to a super heavyweight in a contraversal mannor.
-The now vacant title is defended on a PPV in a match where many wrestlers have a shot to win the title
-Macho Man Randy Savage wins the vacant title

If you said the 1990's and WCW your correct, but if you also said WWF and the 1980's, your also correct...now I can hardly wait to see Nash vs. Backlund in the 2000 on Nitro.

Now granted WCW went out of buisness but isn't it kinda creepy how TNA seems to be doing the same things that WCW did....and truth be told WCW as we knew it only was around for a little over 10 years....I guess that means in about 5 to 6 years TNA will go out of buisness too.

I understad what you and Kaedon are saying, and I sure hope your wrong. I guess we'll just have to wait and see wont we?

well of course. I mean its just there current track record. They could smarten up tomorrow and do a 360 and it could be a whole different story in a month or so. Our point is based on there current path they are doomed to fail. Maybe not in a month or a year or even a couple years, but they can't keep doing buisness they way they have. WCW should forever serve as a lesson on what not to do, and yet even he WWE has been guilty of repeating some of those mistakes. TNA just seems to do it more often then not.
