Cruiserweight Division done again?

Saw this thread on another forum so I decided to plot my own ideas into the topic.

Chavo Guerrero is the CW champ but how many of you actually remembered he was the champ? There are plenty of good superstars in this division and the matches could be great. We see the hit TNA has with Jay Lethal vs Chris Sabin match, ALex Shelley vs Sonjay Dutt, they are X Division Stars, or in WWE terms Cruiserweights. Now with the surplus of stars they have in the division there are bound to be a few good fueds in there. Chavo vs Helms (if Helms does not get upgraded to the US division), Chavo vs Paul London, Chavo vs Kendrick, Kendrick vs London, Kendrick vs Helms, London vs Helms, Wang Yang vs Noble, there are plenty. Set them up in a fatal fourway and it'll be sick, triple threat amazing, 6 way yet again, it'll be great. So why trash a division that can put on such great matches? Move Nunzio over there and you even more upgrade the division. This would definetly help SD as the Cruiserweight matches always have fans on there feet, and is a great asset to PPV's.

Yehh it looks as tho the CW Division is once again the bottom of the WWE's to-do list at the moment. Even the Tag Titles get more exposure than this division. There is no doubt that the talent is there if WWE chose to utulise it, but I don't see that happening for a while.

Just look as the guys the company has:

Chavo
Paul London
Brian Kendrick
Helms
Noble
Yang
Moore

That's seven guys who can all tear it up given the opportunity, but WWE won't let them. It is a shame, but hopefully the division will ressurected soon.

Move them all to ECW, IMO, that will definitely let them shine if they have their own brand, along with the New Breed/Originals, and get Lashley the hell out of there. Then all the tag teams to Smackdown.

The main why the CW's get buried is because doesn't want people to cheer for highflyers instead of cheering for the big guys... Its a given that if the cruiserweights were allowed to their thing it would be a lot better than most Batista/Cena/Lashley matches... And Vince doesn't want to see that.

I hope that the CW division is used to its full potential, but sadly I don't see it happening which is a shame because guys like Gibson (or Noble if you want to call him that), Yang, London and Kendrick can tear it up in the ring and even Chavo himself can still put on good matches with the right opponents. But again, its up to Vince which means we won't be seeing any changes in the near future.

ECW doesn't have enough time to showcase the CW Division, especially as there is talk of creating tag titles for the brand. I would rather see the CW's instead of tag champs on ECW, but it seems the wheels are already in motion.

I dont get how SD has 2 hours and four titles but can always overlook the CWs. Its pretty dumb. Even RAW always finds time for the Women's title matches.

If the WWE wanted they could make the Cruserweight Division just as good as TNA's X Division. Put them in a bunch of ladder matches or any other special matches and you have a match that will steal the show. Right now the Cruserweight Division isn't even close to the X Division. The WWE has the right people to make the Division shine. All we have to do is hope that Vince will put more time into the division but knowing Vicne that won't happen.

WWE hates Cruiserweights, because they started in WCW, and WWE hates anything and everything about WCW. PERIOD!

good way to look at it Badass, but the WWE took the CW, WHC, and United States titles so basically SD is the reincarnation of WCW

Yep he loves the meat heads like him and thats why TNA's PPVs are always better then his, hell Sacrifice will be better then Wrestlemania (I'll confirm that tommorow after watching Sacrifice). Its just seems like a waist to have this crop of great talent and not use it. If he knows the CW matches will be better then his main event then...DE DE DE, you need to make a change.

Defiant One is right in a way. Did you guys notice that RAW has all the classic WWF/WWE belts.

RAW has the WWE Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, the World Tag Team Championships, and the Women's Championship.

Smackdown has either WCW Championships or new Championships

World Heavyweight Championship - pretty much the WCW Championship
United States Championship - the WCW United States Championship
WWE Tag Team Championships - new Championships
Cruserweight Championship - the WCW Cruserweight Championship

So to sum it all up RAW has all the classic WWF/WWE belts and Smackdown has all the WCW Belts.
