Major Star Leaving WWE Is RVD

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

As we’ve been reporting, RVD turned down WWE’s latest offer. According to sources, this appeared to be the final offer WWE was going to make. So the likeliness of RVD resigning is very slim. His contract is rumored to expire in July. With his contract expiring, the general feeling is that there will be no non-compete clause in effect and will be able to compete anywhere upon his leave from the company.

There has been no talk in regards to TNA signing him at this point but as time goes by things may change.

With RVD’s possible departure from WWE, Sabu and Sandman’s future may be up in the air as well. It’s been said that Heyman and RVD, both, kept Sabu from being fired or even quitting himself. Sabu’s been on thing ice in the company for quite some time now and has been staying out of trouble for the most part.

Sandman’s days in ECW appear to be up in the air as well. RVD’s departure may result in the complete dismantle of the Originals.

We’ll have more on this as we get more information.

I had an idea it was. Any thoughts?

Sabu and Sandman have already wrestled in TNA, so it wouldn't be a major thing. RVD would obviously be a major coup for the company though.

Dreamer wouldn't go anywhere. He's pretty much got a job for life it seems. I doubt TNA would offer the same.

Sandman and Sabu, well, they'll just go where the money is.

COLDWATER, Mich. (WOOD) - A man wearing an Al Gore mask robbed one Coldwater bank after witnesses called police when they saw him at another about one mile away.

The Century Bank and Trust was held up by the masked man around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday. He walked into the bank carrying a black pistol, demanded the money, then left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

But five minutes before that robbery, police were called to the Southern Michigan Bank and Trust on US-12 after witnesses saw the masked man carrying a gun and walking around outside the bank. The man was not there when police arrived.

He's described as a white man, about 6 feet tall, between 180-200 pounds with short, possibly salt-and-pepper hair. He wore a heavyweight, long-sleeve blue shirt, described as the kind of shirt a carpenter or mechanic might wear. He fled in a white or light-colored 4-door sedan.
