Yehh I just saw that post on WWE.com. This is a clear sign that Orton is just recieving a fine and nothing more. It could also be used as a swerve for Orton's title win .. although that would be too good to be true.

I also saw the announcement for the Edge/Orton match. Once the Cena/HBK natch ended I expected the match t start, but no, Raw ended. I thought I'd imagined the announcement. I guess the Cena/HBK match 'over-run' leaving no time for the match.

In a WWE.com story, they have written the following:

"WWE has taken action against Randy Orton for unprofessional conduct."

They don't say what the actions are or whether he will appear at the PPV this weekend.

As we have reported since last week, Orton was sent home from the European tour due to his actions on the tour where there was reportedly over $50,000 worth of damage done to a hotel room.

Like I said in the other Orton thread,Just make him pay the (now) $50,000 and then move on

WWE's Reason For Edge/Orton Match Cancellation

The RAW taping in London, England last night was supposed to feature Randy Orton vs. Edge, however that did not happen. WWE.com have included the following statement in their recap on the official website:

Although other matches were scheduled for the night, including a contest pitting Edge against Randy Orton, the length of the main event left no room for other battles.

Clearly this is a smokescreen given Orton's actions in Europe last week. He was not present at the RAW taping in England yesterday, and it remains to be seen if he will even feature in the Backlash main-event on Sunday. As always, we will keep you updated with events.

Another Update On The Randy Orton Situation

Randy Orton got sent home from the UK tour this week. Apparently he trashed a hotel room and caused thousands and thousands of dollars worth of damage. Sources are saying that he was being fined and not even suspended, so he'll be working the Backlash on Sunday.

Vince McMahon is terrified of letting anyone go to TNA, which is why there has been tremendous heat on guys like Carlito for interviews that they've done and few are ever fired (though Carlito is doing jobs left and right, and Orton is almost certainly doing the job Sunday). The Kurt Angle situation was different because WWE didn't think there was any chance of him going to TNA and were actually terrified that he was going to die under their watch in the very, very near future. There isn't that fear with him Orton.

Iam hoping for my favourite wrestlers sake rko randy orton he sorts him self out. I mean how the hell $50,000 what did he do piss all over the walls or what? I dunno its a swerve if you ask me.

Jim Ross wrote the following in his latest blog concerning Randy Orton being sent home from the European tour:

"Orton, as reported by WWE.com was sent home from the tour for unprofessional conduct, which I am sure will most likely cost the 3rd generation star some hard-earned cash. Nonetheless, Orton will most likely be in Atlanta Sunday, and if he is not I will be surprised. Orton is not unlike many young athletes who reach fame and fortune at a young age and have issues handling it. I read about it seemingly every week regarding athletes from the NFL, MLB, NBA, etc. That certainly doesn’t make it right, as there are only so many “second chances” to go around and it would be a damn shame to see any young talent self destruct and permanently damage their career because of utilizing poor judgment. Randy is a talented and good hearted kid, but he has to make better choices, especially when it comes to anger issues. In my opinion, if Randy decides to change how he approaches certain situations he can be successful in doing so, which would in turn extend his career into one of the longer, more successful ones in the business. I speak from experience that “attitude” starts and ends with the person one sees in the mirror."

Hmmm i dunno what it is but somethings not right here.

I agree with you dude. What worrie sme is the net can make it a bigger deal than it was. I remember when he supplosedly crapped in a divas bag. When all he and dean malenko did was put talc in it. I keep on hearign different costs as to what damage he caused. And different other bits. Things keep on changing everytime i hear something new.

It's absolutely unbelievable. Orton's on thin ice and he's gonna lose his job if he dosen't start kissing someone's ass very soon becuase that's gonna be his only chance of staying in the WWE.

Back to the good stuff which this week is Backlash. I fully expect the entire Fatal 4 Way to be intact, including Randy Orton and Edge to go along with HBK and Cena. When the story of Randy Orton’s trashed hotel room first got out people in the locker room under the impression that he had been fired on the spot, which obviously wasn't the case. There are now reports coming out that the damages to his hotel room were in excess of $50,000. Orton is definitely in hot water right now and there are people within the company who are surprised that he still hasn’t been fired yet. WWE officials are very upset about the situation, especially after having given him so many chances in the past, but it doesn‘t look like they will be releasing or suspending him.

Can't say I'm surprised at this. I take it Orton isn't the most popular guy backstage at the moment. I'm guessing his big punishment will be to do the job at Backlash.

Isnt that from a news site?^^^^^ This is a forum people are just putting down news things with no opinion of they're own aint that wrong? You should copy and paste a story with your own views also. Isnt it spamming?

There are no changes being made as to Randy Orton’s involvement at WWE Backlash tomorrow night.

As punishment for his recent hotel disaster in which damages up to thirty grand, WWE management is considering moving Orton to SmackDown! Or ECW. The RAW brand is considered as the “A-Brand” and Orton has expressed strong interest in remaining on the RAW roster.

Now as an orton fan i wouldnt care. Smackdown has good matches on it and longer ones. Id be very happy with orton on smackdown agian in fact he had his best year on smackdown june 05 - june 06. I hope ecw isnt the case it would suck if he went there. I think another smackdown run can do his career better actually.
