But you obviously have a reference point to compare it to. You cant say "A is bad" without having a "B" in mind. You cant tell what dark is without light and you cant tell what "good" is without "bad".

Yeah of course there is always room for improvement, Even in the Attitude Era people only remember the good things but there were things WWE did that were bad or mistakes.

you know i have to admit i'd have to compare today's wrestling with the attitude era...lol what can i say i loved the attitude era! lol

but at the same time i don't want to see it come back...

i just think the wwe needs to improve a bit...

Yeah, the Attitude Era had the WORST undercard Id ever seen. D-Lo vs. X-Pac is shit compared to Jeff Hardy vs. Johnny Nitro.

but i enjoyed the main event scene

nowadays i enjoy the undercard scene and can't stand the main event scene
except for a select few...

looking back the attitude had some pretty bad stuff but the good overshadowed all of it...like Austin, The Rock and DX covered up the terrible undercard they had...

the Q should be like this .
what would u prefer ?
A) classic 1 hour matches with no scripted winners . with a lil entertainment on the way .
B) stuff like attitude era . half wrestling and half entertainment .
C)WWE now . (stripers + boring superstars like cena + BS wrestling )

my choice , none . i'd like to see an attitude era with more entertainment and more exciting wrestling . but like kaedon said, ill h8 it when a match end with a bearhug .lol

While the WWE might have had more undercard matches (and I stress MIGHT), a lot of it was shit. Goldust vs. HHH, Ahmed Johnson vs. Faarooq, Marc Mero vs. Lief Cassidy.....

okay enough... People poop on Rest Hold Randy, because all he does are rest holds, theres nothing wrong with them, as long as the match is not one big rest hold. as I was watching my history of the wwe championship dvd, i noticed a trend in the matches, as time passed, the matches had less and less holds. if i say What is the most Influential match in wwe history, arguably you could say hogan vs andre at wm3 right? that match had 4 diffrent rest holds, each for 7 minutes, thats not even a good match. its not even fun to watch.

Orton doesnt do ALL restholds, it just seems like that because you arent used to an actual old school match. You just said it yourself, if its slow, its boring.

WWE is trying to recreate the Attitude Era again, but it won't happen. They're just trying to use something that worked with them before now, but the fans got tired of it and want to see something different.
