- Dragon Gate USA officials recently confirmed that WWE has expressed interest in signing several of their talents, who are currently signed to DGUSA contracts. DGUSA will release the talents from their deals if it means they will get a WWE contract. No word yet on the talents WWE is interested in.

This means we could see BxB Hulk or CIMA joining WWE or even Richochet (These guys would work well with the high-flyers and small guys). PAC & YAMATO could also join, even Chuck Taylor (I'd mark the fuck out for this), Johnny Gargano, Rich Swann. So many possibilities could happen from DGUSA, With most DGUSA Wrestlers aligned in factions and such, we could see tag teams being brought over to WWE.

After all HHH does want to relive the division and rumors have it the Cruiserweight Title could be back, all these signings will make it very possible. I have a feeling HHH could look at CHIKARA next or something, he's really looking for some great talent and DGUSA has many, many great talents.

What are your thoughts?

Who would you like to see move to WWE from DGUSA?

Very good news that WWE are looking to sign some of the DGUSA wrestlers. It shows that they aren't just looking for monster physiques and are looking for wrestlers. They already signed Jon Moxley so they have been looking at them for some time. I just wonder what deals the japanese wrestlers have and if they are aligned with Dragon Gate in Japan as well. Maybe they are looking at PAC and Ricochet? I like that DGUSA will be willing to release any wrestlers that want to sign with WWE, they realise that WWE is the ultimate goal.

Yeah I would think it is not the Japanese Wrestlers. European guys like PAC and North American guys like Gargano and Taylor is very possible. Still love the Moxley signing, I'm very big on that guy.

Moxley, as Dean Ambrose, has been having an awesome feud with Seth Rollins in FCW. Ever since Moxley debuted there they have feuded over the FCW 15 title and from all reports the matches are fantastic. WWE should promote both guys to the main roster.

Well I will not comment on the talent involved until I hear more and until it seems like that this will happen. What I will say is that for WWE to move forward and learn from past mistakes they need to broaden their approach, and like a wide range of wrestlers from all different companies. One of the reason WWF was so good in the 80's/90's and the early part of the 00's is because they looked for credible indie talent, or at least guys with expereince or who could offer something different from what they might have. Even a guy like Edge had already had a number of years experience on the indie scene before signing, and thats why he was so polished so soon. In the last ten years they have relied too much on rookies who have come though their own system, or people who have won one of their talent/reality shows for the nesxt break out stars. With a bit of luck HHH will start to change that.

Here is an update on the story;

pwinsider said:
Updating the story I wrote about earlier in the week, there will be no immediate hiring of any DGUSA talents by WWE. Basically, the company reached out to several talents they were potentially interested in, so there's a few guys on the radar but no one who's about to get snatched up. Gabe Sapolsky was very happy that some of the roster was starting to get recognized for their work.

So nothing will happen right now but WWE are definitely interested in watching how they progress in DGUSA. Always good to read that the booker, Gabe, is happy for the wrestlers to be signed to WWE and won't stand in the way if they want to leave.

Like you said Keith WWE in the past decade have focussed a lot on wrestlers who don't have much indy experience. It would be better if they sign guys who have spent a few years wrestling the indies around the world so that they have wrestled some different styles.
