The Hardys? Why Not Hardy Boyz?

ok, why does WWE call Matt and Jeff the Hardys, not Hardy Boyz?

I saw because at the time when the Hardy's were together they looked smaller and more like boys. Now there both older and look bigger than boys so there just The Hardy's. Also in the end with The Dudley Boys they stopped calling them the Damn Dudley Boyz to the Damn Dudleys. I don't know why but I say there jsut making them sound older.

Oh, because WWE doesn't want them to get confused with the mystery books, wow they only discovered that one now? lol

Because they're no longer boys.. Back in the Attitude era these guys were in their early to mid 20;s and now they're a bit older, so they're just the Hardys now.

Then again, it could just be because the WWE just doesn't like the word "Boys" anymore....lol.

I'm just glad that the WWE doesn't feel the need to replace s with z anymore.

Seriously, nothing gays up a name like replacing the s with a z.

^^**throws fireball** but really, all of the old "boys/z" (i.e. Hardy Boyz, Dudley Boys, etc.) they're all extinct. So really, it's Stephanie McMahon's little creative team to blame for it.

First of all, stop throwing fireballs or I'll fire you.

........

Second, the name change of Matt and Jeff was by no means due to their height, weight, or anything like that. If anything, 'The Hardy Boyz' name was already used before. 'The Hardys' could be just a reimaging of two highflyers themselves.

Personally I liked Hardy Boyz, that was one of the symbols of the Attitude Era, looks like WWE doesn't want any of their past influencing this new era

From what I've been able to understand, WWE aren't using Hardy Boyz because I think the person who owns the rights to use the name in reference to those other Hardy Boyz didn't want to allow them and beacause WWE are supposedly only using Matt and Jeff in a tag team only temporarily they didn't bother. Also it makes them seem more grwn up too.

The only reason is because The Hardy Boyz was a staple of the Attitude Era......now we've moved on from that, and so too have.....ah you guessed it, The Hardys. Is there really any need to call them Boyz anymore? It was just a staple of the Attitude era to put z's at the end of words, it was popular. Not so much now. As monkeystyle so elegantly put it, it's gay! LOL! That's the only reason, none of this 'because they're older now' bullcrap lol. You guys are looking way too deep into this.
