Yeah Jones is terrible. Any other GM would've been fired around 2001. He's the new Al Davis so the next Jamarcus Russell is probable. He's the main problem for real. I still hope against hope that the next coach will also have GM type power.

re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

They just had to grow into their own.

Robert Quinn was a steal at 14th in the 2011 Draft.

Onto some news from the Replacement Refs. Now that they're able to talk about some of the calls they made, it seems as if they called the play at the end of the Seahawks/Packers Game exactly the way they were taught by the NFL Officials.
Just now seeing this get talked about on Inside The NFL and that is insane that all this time players could just push the fuck out of dudes in hail mary situations and not get interference called. Chris Collinsworth's reaction was priceless as he seemed in shock about that apparent philosophy that they tell the refs. One of the refs who made the call got tons of phone calls from the Green Bay area lol.

It shows you why, at least in my opinion, why Goodell should not be the commissioner. He couldn't even have his own officials teach these referees the correct way to call a game. But that's a discussion for another time.

Coach McCarthy called him to support him because he had heard that all those people were calling and harassing him.

Thought that was classy of Mike to do that considering he how much his team got screwed. But yeah they really got to change that philosophy on how to handle hail mary's as now the word is out on how they call it and we could see that situation pop up again.

re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

Waking up to see the Browns beating the Giants made me question if I was fully awake.

I don't think anyone really questioned the Colts Offense being good, haha.

All in good time though.

Luck will get it locked down.

Amazing record for Brees to get. Pretty much NFL's version of Joe Dimaggio's consecutive hit record.

I've got Johnson in one of my fantasy leagues. Dropped him last week when he scored 15 points, every time I've played him he's never got more than like 3 points. 0.90 today. :side:
