I don't think Kidd would get released. He's apparently due to be given a manager and some sort of push, which is still in the works. If the WWE ditch that idea, I could very well see Kidd in some trouble. As you said he's terrible on the mic, and you can only last so long with no mic skills.

Thought I'd just clarify, Tito Colon is actually Primo's cousin and not brother.

Cottonwood should definitely be released. Why the fuck he hasn't been yet is beyond me.

I think David Hart Smith is in trouble considering he has been training in MMA. If his focus is elsewhere, no point keeping him around.
Oops lol, but I believe Tito shoud be getting a call up pretty soon he has had some great matches on FCW and victories over Jinder Mahal who normally is booked to squash people his size. As I mentioned with Kidd, the guy has not done anything for me, he was actaully ok when Natalya was his manager. Because Nattie knows how to talk on the mic. Making Hart Dynasty a face really hurt the team and I thik thats Bret's fault.

^I agree. The Hart Dynasty should have remained as a heel group. They were better that way and when they became face they just became so predictable. Kidd I like and I hope that once he gets a manager he can become a regular again on tv.

Let's be honest here, heel or face, they were one of the true tag teams WWE actually had, and it's a damn shame they split them up to do jack shit in singles competition instead.

I agree. WWE just split these teams too early and don't get everything they can out of the teams they have. If they had more than a couple of teams they would be able to put them in new feuds to keep the storylines fresh.

Thought I'd revive this thread a little.

So as we're all aware of by now, Chris Masters, Vladimir Kozlov, David Hart Smith and Melina were all released by the WWE this past week. Gail Kim reportedly quit the company as well, but her release is yet to be announced.

As of this morning, there have been a further 8 releases made, all from FCW. One of them is Lucky Cannon, which is unfortunate as I saw potential in his new character. Another is a Diva added last week called Cameron Lynn, who is also known as Ariane Andrew from Tough Enough and is famous for saying to Austin that her favourite Divas match was Alicia Fox vs. Melina.

As for the rest, none of them ever made it to NXT or the main roster. Here is what they look like:

Colin Cassady (only added last week)

I think that with the internal structure off wwe shifting we will se alot more cuts to come in the near future which will suprise many. I have this feeling JTG is close to curtain call as is Curt Hawkins unless they decide to use him and ryder to revive tag division which we have all wanted for months now so probably wont happen. Only time will tell aye but Im sure some will suprise us.

Good point there Pegasus.

I see some of these cuts are made so WWE can bring in some tag teams, with Hunico working under Sin Cara right now until his suspension is over. There is a chance Epico and Hunico could be called up to the roster.

I do see some tag action happening and I really hope these cuts mean Tag Team Division revived.

A couple of those FCW wrestlers have been put back on the FCW website.

Some of those released definitely didn't look the part so it doesn't surprise me. WWE have a ton of wrestlers in FCW so I don't mind that they are releasing a bunch of wrestlers. I am still surprised that they haven't released more NXT rookies that failed to crack the main roster.

Apparently Cameron Lynn, Colin Cassady and Leroy Parks didn't get released after all, but the others definitely did.

If you go through the past NXT Rookies, it's tough to think of many that can be released:

NXT1 - Michael Tarver has already been released, Darren Young COULD be in trouble after NXT5, but the rest are all firmly on the main roster. Well, not so much Skip Sheffield, but if Vince McMahon is high on him then he isn't in any trouble.

NXT2 - Kaval and Lucky Cannon have already been released, McGillicutty and Riley are firmly on the main roster, and O'Neil is the favourite to win NXT5 and move on to NXT6. Husky Harris and Percy Watson both shouldn't be released, especially Harris as he's so unique. Eli Cottonwood is apparently injured at the moment, but surely he will be released as he is shit.

NXT3 - Who cares.

NXT4 - Jacob Novak has thankfully already been released, Brodus Clay is firmly on the main roster, and Johnny Curtis is about to debut for Smackdown this week. Bateman is on NXT5 and surely wouldn't be in any trouble if he doesn't win, but the same can't be said for Byron Saxton and Conor O'Brian. Both of them could follow in Lucky Cannon and Jacob Novak's footsteps as they both failed on NXT5 as well. Personally I find Saxton to be entertaining and I would rather him over O'Brian, but it doesn't look too promising for either.

In my eyes, only Eli Cottonwood should be released. If I had no choice and was forced to pick more, then I guess I'd have to go with Conor O'Brian and Percy Watson.

What happened to Percy Watson, he was doing a lot of dark matches and was said to elevate to the roster but seems like that's out the door.

Saxton is over-entertaining. He needs to be on the roster, commentator, manager, whatever... he is very entertaining nonetheless.

I remember the same thing happening with somebody else. They wrestled all these Raw dark matches, disappeared for a while, then suddenly debuted on the main roster. Who knows, same thing could be happening with Watson.

I thought Saxton was great as an ECW commentator, not to mention he has great mic skills and is decent in the ring. I loved the fact he would show up every week on NXT with a different shirt that had something smart to say about himself. He has something in my eyes, but so did Lucky Cannon and Chris Masters yet they're gone...

It's strange how WWE has these talents but do absolutely nothing with them.

Curt Hawkins comes to a good example, he's not that bad on the microphone but he's never used. Why don't they tag him up with Ryder already?

I see a lot of potential for the tag division for the undercarders/mid-card wrestlers.. but they never seem to go anywhere.

Would like Percy or Saxton on the roster however.

It's so silly that the WWE neglect such talented superstars, rather focusing on the main talent and creating a few feuds, only for them to chuck matches on pay-per-views at the last second with no actual announcement. There's all this build up, but they fail to build their cards until late.

The WWE are too afraid to take any risks, which is why Punk had to do what he has had to do to get himself noticed, same with Ryder and his YouTube videos. As for Ryder, being Teddy Long's assistant is silly as he isn't even on Smackdown, so I'd much rather see the WWE team Hawkins and Ryder back up and build off Ryder's popularity. After all, a lot of us marked out when it looked like Ryder and Hawkins were back together, but they wrestled one match the following week on Superstars, lost it, and that was that.

So true, I could see Barrett and Tatsu teaming up to fill the numbers in the tag division. I wouldn't mind that happening actually, both don't really have a gimmick.

I'm glad some superstars are out there getting noticed, to be quite honest with you... I feel McIntyre will be out the door soon, I know everyone loves him but let's be realistic...

Barrett & Tatsu?!! Please tell me you meant Barreta & Tatsu, even though that team still makes no sense to me.

Wow, I can't believe I forgot about McIntyre. The fall from grace he has had just proves how pathetic the WWE's booking can be sometimes, but you're right, he could be in some trouble. You don't go from "future World Champion" to not being used at all and be guaranteed your future in the company. It would be fucking stupid if he was released, but Masters being released was fucking stupid and the WWE still did it.
