As we reported last week in the PWInsider.com Elite section, Spike TV and TNA have come to terms to keep Impact Wrestling as a live broadcast through the end of 2012. Certain episodes will be taped in advance if the broadcast falls on a holiday, but beyond that, they will be live.

Universal Studios released the TNA Impact schedule for the remainder of 2012.

Impact will be broadcast live on these Thursdays:

September 20th
September 27th
October 4th
October 11th
October 18th
October 25th
November 1st
November 8th
November 29th
December 6th

TNA will tape Impact Wrestling for holiday broadcasts on these dates:
Monday, November 12th
Tuesday, November 13th
Monday, December 10th
Tuesday, December 11th

Good news that TNA are continuing with this experiment, they just need to tweak it a little bit and start the show at 9 again rather than 8.

Spike has a good audience too. So to continue with Spike is just smart business. I am starting to enjoy TNA when I can actually watch it. I'd hate to lose it now that I'm enjoying it again.

I'd watch it either way but I am glad that it's staying live. Unlike there other attempts to go live this time they had the company going somewhere. It's not just a clusterfuck like when Hogan started there.

TNA staying live is a good thing however, staying in the same arena is not. If TNA are to expand and become a bigger and better company they need to start performing in bigger arenas. Being in the 'iMPACT zone' still just makes them look like a little independent company with no hope of going anywhere. With the wrestlers they have, albeit WWE's dirty laundry (as I call them) they should be able to fill 10,000 - 15,000 seater buildings easily. Saying that TNA have to do something different from WWE. They need to revolutionise the industry with something we have never seen before.

Interesting point. Trouble is if they started to take Impact on the road each week then it would be a gamble and attendances would suffer. One thing they should do is start to charge people, doesn't have to be much, but I don't see the sense in losing money every week by letting people in for free.

Didn't WCW start to let people in for free in their dying days? This isn't a good sign. Not at all.

That's probably why the little cafeteria(or whatever the fuck they're in) is always so full. But that's also a good move if you think about it. People love free shit, and being able to watch a wrestling show for free is pretty wicked if you're a fan don't you think?

It's good for the fans, but not for TNA as a business.

TNA as a business never does anything right.

Actually they have done plenty right this year dare I say more than WWE? When is this baise towards TNA going to stop. Why can't you admit that they have been getting more right than wrong recently.

I think it is because for so many years TNA were making basic mistakes that everyone knew would fail and then they did fail at them. TNA have had a great opportunity to take a chunk of the marketplace yet never really took advantage of the great roster that they had. They spent too much time focussing on older stars that were overpaid and there were too many silly angles. TNA have started to make some good decisions, mainly by pushing a younger generation of stars up top and there are plenty of fresh faces around the mainevent scene. They have also focussed on more realistic storylines. There is still plenty of crap like anything involving Hogan and the AJ/Dixie angle but it is moving in the right direction.
