I'd love to see The Batiri win. Been wanting them to get the Campeonatos de Parejas for a while now, as I feel they're one of the better teams on the Chikara roster. I think Quack won KOT a few years back, so i'll be surprised if he were to do it again.

Yeah, Quak's already won it. Batiri or The Swarm are my predictions.

It's not really The Colony, as one of the AntiAnt's were put with The Colony. Glad The Batiri won, just a shame that The Throwbacks didn't win.

I know, but I still figured they would manage past the first round. After round one, I think The Batiri is very, very likely to win now.

Results from Night 2

1. King of Trios Quarterfinals: Team F.I.S.T. def. Team JWP
Team F.I.S.T. advances to semi-finals for the third time; the second time with Johnny Gargano.
Chuck Taylor makes Yoneyama submit to the Half Crab at 12:59.
Team JWP, however, receives a standing ovation.

2. Singles Match: "Mr. Touchdown" Mark Angelosetti def. 1-2-3 Kid
Mark Angelosetti hits a low blow on 1-2-3 Kid, behind the ref's back, to get the win.
It was a rather short match, not that much of a squash though; it finished at 4:13.

3. King of Trios Quarterfinals: The Spectral Envoy (Ultramantis Black, Hallowicked, and Frightmare) def. The Batiri (Kobald, Kodama, and Obariyon, w/ Ophidian)
Ultramantis Black pins Obariyon after a top-rope double stomp by Hallowicked.
The Batiri dominated the entire match.
This is the first time the Spectral Envoy has made it to the semi-finals.

4. Tag Team Match: Team Osaka Pro (Ebessan and Takoyakida) def. The Colony (Fire Ant and Green Ant)
Ebessan sprays Fire Ant with bug spray at 13:33 to get the win.
It was said to be a very funny match, overall.

5. King of Trios Quarterfinals: Sendai Girls def. Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw, and Manami Toyota
Satomura connects with a DVD on Mike Quackenbush at 12:43 to get the win.
This is Quackenbush, Jigsaw, and Toyota's first loss since becoming a trio.

6. Singles Match: Tatanka def. Sugar Dunkerton
After refusing the assistance of Chuck Taylor, Sugar Dunkerton falls victim to the Samoan Drop of Tatanka at 15:06.

7. King of Trios Quarterfinals: Team Ring of Honor (The Young Bucks and Mike Bennett, w/ Maria Kanellis) def. The Extreme Trio
More Bang for your Buck on Tommy Dreamer at 21:27 allows Mike Bennett & the Young Bucks to advance to Night 3.

8. Main Event for the CHIKARA Grand Championship: Eddie Kingston def. Tadasuke
Eddie Kingston defeated Tadasuke, but the bigger story is that Tim Donst has finally snapped attacking Kingston after the match.

Kingston vs Donst again? Boring

My new prediction for King Of Trios is The Spectral Envoy. UltraMantis Black hasn't won anything in Chikara thus far (he didn't win the Young Lions Cup in his first year, he's always missed out on the Tag Titles), and he's been there since the start, much like Hallowicked.

I picked the Spectral Envoy team last year and they lost in the first which is why I didn't go with a prediction this year. Would like to see them get the W.

Night 3 results:

King of Trios Seminfinals: Team Ring of Honor def. the Sendai Girls and advances to the finals after a More Bang for your Buck.

King of Trios Semifinals: The Spectral Envoy def. FIST after a Cosmic Doom from Ultramantis Black on Gargano.

Ophidian defeats Saturyne with the Ophidian Death Grip.

Ten Team Tag Gauntlet:
Green Ant and Fire Ant def. Jakob Hammermeier and Tim Donst when Green Ant caught Jakob after a superplex.

Devastation Corporation with Sidney Bakabella def. The Colony with Death Blow.

Devastation Corporation def. Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel with Death Blow.

Devastation Corporation def. Knight Eye for the Pirate Guy, after Lance Steel’s crossbody block was caught.

Devastation Corporation def. Johnny Miyagi and Ralph Macchio Jr. with a Death Blow.

Demolition def. Devastation Corporation with a variation of the Hart Attack.

Powers of Pain def. Demolition after a big boot from Barbarian on Smash.

123 Kid and Marty Jannetty def. Powers of Pain after a spinning heel kick/schoolboy combination on Warlord.

123 Kid and Marty Jannetty def. Los Ice Creams with a suplex/crossbody combination.

123 Kid and Marty Jannetty now have two points toward Campeonatos de Parejas contention.

Intermission

Ebessan, Takoyakido, and 3.0 def. Colt Cabana, Darkness Crabtree, Swamp Monster, and Yohnel Sanders (accompanied by Chuck Taylor, Orange Cassidy, and Drew Gulak) when Takoyakido pinned Darkness Crabtree. Pure silliness but a ton of fun.

Tsubasa Kuragaki and Commando Bolshoi def Kaori Yoneyama and Manami Toyota when Kuragaki pinned Yoneyama after a razors edge/dominator variation.

Tadasuke def. Jigsaw by knockout after a piledriver and two right hands.

King of Trios Finals: Spectral Envoy def. Team Ring of Honor when Hallowicked made Bennett tap out to the Chikara Special to win the 2012 King of Trios. This is the first honor Ultramantis Black has won in his Chikara career. The Batiri, Ophidian, and Delirious tried to interfere but Crossbones helped keep them at bay.

Spectral Envoy winning :mark:

Nice to see the Spectral Envoy winning, looks like three nights of some very fun shows.
