Old news but it has yet to be posted. Overeem pulled out of his scheduled fight with Antonio Silva due to a foot injury. He wanted to fight a month later but Showtime had already chosen a September date and weren't going to change it. He has been replaced with Dan Cormier.

This tournament has dragged on too long and now the favourite is out of the tournament. This should be an easy win for Silva.

Is this the end of Overeem in Strikeforce? Will he go to UFC or will he focus on K-1 and possibly boxing?

Sergei and Barnett should be the favourites.

Overeem doesn't have many options. K1 is dying, DREAM is dying. Boxing is not a factor and UFC is the biggest game out there. Should just tow the line and do his job.

Overeem supposedly wants a boxing match against one of the Klitschko brothers. That would be a good payday but there is no way that fight will ever happen.

I agree that he should fight when scheduled to fight and not get on the bad side of Zuffa. UFC is his best chance of a good payday now and this isn't a good first impression.

Seriously don't want to see him get hugged by a Klitschko for 12 rounds. Plus it's his knees that are devestating. His hands are not his primary weapons so to venture into boxing would be a bad move. Sergei knocked him out because Reem couldn't punch with him.
