I can grow a beard easily but I prefer keeping it as strictly a goatee. And I know the ladies like it when I have just the goatee over the bead. Although sometimes I let the beard grow some... that way when I do shave it they are like wow you look so good. And I be like yeah I know

I want to have a beard but can't really grow one. Only my chin grows hair but none on my cheeks. I'm also Mexican so I have the worst wetback looking mustache if I don't shave it every couple of days. I'd like a short stubble beard but alas I can't grow one and I doubt I ever will since my family has pretty much never had them. As far as beard in wrestling, Macho Man had the greatest overall look to go with his beard.

Don't have a beard really but I'd like to grow one or a stubble/or 5 o'clock shadow would be nice. I do grow some sideburns pretty quickly though.

After YEARS of wanting my beard to grow so I could look older (to no avail), it began to grow thick and fast when I got into my 20s. I now sport a full goatee (moustache connected to chin hair). I have taken to shaving it off less and less frequently, as it suits me. As for full beards, my hair grows much less on the sides than around the mouth, for some reason, so I end up looking goofy.

I do believe it's true that you can thicken it by shaving, though. I've been shaving since I was 17 or so, and eventually it did start to grow thicker.

I wish I could do one of those thin beards:

I am physically in the same type/bracket as these men (very close to the second), so I think it would suit me. But so far, it's been no go. Most barbers don't even know what I'm on about when I try to explain.

As for best beard in wrestling...MICK FOLEY. And this guy:

I used to like growing my facial hair just because I liked it, but I've found lately that clean shaven / 5 o'clock shadow probably works better for me. That could be because I've gotten in shape and now have a jawline though.

I have never really had a beard and think that I look better without one. Every now and then I toy with growing one partly because I get quite lazy when it comes to shaving, but always shave before it is grown. Also I am 31 which I see as still being young and consider beards for people more in their later 30s/40s.

^I'm 27. I don't want to look babyface, because when I do people literally think I'm 23/24 - that is, when they don't say 17! :p

Yeah Beards as a whole just arn't a great look IMO. Not everyone who doesn't have one is a babyface.

I think it may be where you live but I think a lot of people have beards in their 20s. If you were to go to an L.A or New York, you'd see a very large amount of 20 year olds wearing beards. Granted its mainly hipsters but I see a ton of young people with beards. I see 30/40 year old with the older man type beards where as everyone else is pretty manicured.

I never said having a beard makes you hipster. I said in LA a lot of 20 year olds have beards and most of them are hipsters. I know a lot of girls who like beards but don't like it rubbing against them.

Not like I could grow a beard anyways (I'm 20 and can't grow no grizzly beard). Yes it grows, but nothing out of control. I just usually shave once a week to clean the face clean. I'm sure one day I'll be able to have a beard, but it's something I probably won't have. Clean shave ftw.

^Not when you're 20/22 and people consistently think you're 16/18 :p Then, it's beard or GTFO.

It depends on your genetics . Some people get their beard at an early age some in later . While some never grow . I knew a guy , he was 45-46 and didnt even had mustache . He use to shave all the time but was unsuccessfull and gave up lol .
