I kept the title vague so that anyone who doesn't want to be spoiled can skip this thread.

For others Daniel Bryan won the Smackdown MITB match to the surprise of many. Smackdown desperately needed more top faces so it is a good move by the booking team especially since Sin Cara has been suspended for a month due to a wellness policy violation.

When do you think Daniel Bryan will cash in his MITB briefcase? Will it be a surprise cash in or will he book the match ahead of time?

It will be a fair while...

Perhaps December, TLC match or something... Maybe after some Fatal Four Way Title Match or something.

I agree it will be a long time before he cashes it in. He needs to be built up to that level and should keep the case for at least six months before he even considers cashing it in. I also think that Daniel Bryan will book the match beforehand, he won't do a surprise cash in.

I heard that they are planning that he gets a decent push and faces the main eventers and it turns out from what I've read on a site... yeah sources are never true but...

Bryan is going to announce he's using the cash in clause at a PPV instead of a surprise cash in.

It wouldn't suite his character to have a surprise cash in so I am 100% confident it will be booked ahead. Will be good seeing what happens with him for the rest of the year because he will be getting a great push up the card.

I agree with everyone itt that it won't be a surprise cash in. He'll book it in advance, and I think that'll be a nice change of pace from every other MITB cash in besides RVD.

They have to wait awhile, as excited as I am about this, fact is WWE have done a lot of damege to Bryan in the last six months, so this has to be a slow push. I would like to see him cash in around Wrestlemania time. There are plenty good mid-upper card feuds for him on Smackdown with the likes of Sheamus, Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, and depending on how long Christian keeps the World Title, what a feud that could be! Also I think Orton needs to be switched heel, if so I would like to see Bryan-Orton maybe at Summerslam.

I think they need to make DB's wrestling background and submission style take centre stage in recent months, maybe have a few squash matches, where he can send masseges to his main rivals, they can also book old video packenges of him growing up, and have an in-depth interview one week on Smackdown, as one as interviews with his family. At the same time as Bryan starts working his way through his foes, maybe start showing a more nasty streak to him, like if he faces Sheamus, they could meet in a cage match on a PPV, and we could see Daniel Bryan fight fire with fire. Then as we move towards the end of the year have him talk about how many fans don't seem to applciate his new tatics, he can become more cocky and play more on holding the briefcase, and then I see a heel turn going into the new year. Anyone who saw him in ROH will know what a awesome heel he is, and how he can work a crowd, at that stage they would have had plenty of time to build him up, and it might be time for a heel change anyway. I see him Cashing in either in the Eliminaton Chamber [maybe he can be a surprise replacement for someone] or maybe either at Wrestlemania. That is what I would do.

The best in the world doesn't need a surprise cash in imo. Should go the RVD route and make every ROH smark happy as seeing a girl at one of their events lulz. And have him follow Punk and cash it on him.

Doubt it would happen tho.

He can't cash it on Punk, he can only use it on Smackdown...

I see Christian holding it for a while with Bryan saying he's cashing it in (Name PPV here).

^Please don't mention that lol. I hope it doesn't happen to Bryan but I guess there is always the chance they could have him lose it.

Bryan booking himself a title match at a big PPV to cash it in would be good. So many MITB winners have claimed that they will cash it in at WM but they never do. WWE should change that by having Bryan actually go through with it and book himself a match at WM.

Daniel Bryan did an interview with wwe.com http://www.wwe.com/inside/daniel-bryan-one-year-later and in it he discusses when he will cash in the MITB briefcase.

“Under no circumstances will I cash in my Money in the Bank contract before WrestleMania,” Bryan said assertively. “If I were to cash it in and win the World Heavyweight Championship when the champion was vulnerable, that would be the equivalent of a team winning the Super Bowl because the other team forfeited. Unless I truly earn the World Heavyweight Title, I don’t want to be the champion.”

It is great to read this from Daniel Bryan plus the fact it is on wwe.com makes me hope it will happen this way. I completely agree with what he is saying and it fits his character perfectly. He needs to declare he is cashing it in before hand and make a match that way. Like he said then he would "earn" the title. It would make him look better in the eyes of the fans if he as a face does it that way rather than the surprise cash in.
