* Randy Orton opens the show and says his concussion won’t stop him from beating Christian at Capitol Punishment. Teddy Long comes out and reminds Orton that he can’t compete tonight. Christian came out and played the heel role. Sheamus is out next and he vs. Christian is announced for tonight. If Sheamus wins, he gets put in the PPV match making it a triple threat.

* Wade Barrett, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes vs. Sin Cara, Ezekiel Jackson and Daniel Bryan is up next. Sin Cara’s team wins in a rematch from RAW.

* Backstage segment with Sheamus talking about winning tonight and the World Title on Sunday.

* Jinder Mahal defeated Vladimir Kozlov.

* Big Show comes out looking for Alberto Del Rio but gets Teddy Long instead. Long doesn’t want Show hurting Del Rio if he shows up tonight and books Show in a match with Mark Henry. Show knocks Henry out with the knockout punch. Henry does an injury angle and they take him away from the ring on a stretcher.

* Tamina, Rosa Mendes and Alicia Fox beat AJ Lee, Kaitlyn and Natalya.

* Christian is upset that he has to face Sheamus in the main event.

* Another backstage segment with Johnny Curtis. He calls himself the ace in the hole and says he will debut soon.

* The Usos defeated Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater.

* Alberto Del Rio comes out and talks about winning the WWE Title is his destiny and how he isn’t afraid of Big Show. Del Rio dedicates his Capitol Punishment match with Show to Ricardo Rodriguez. Big Show runs out and sends Del Rio fleeing from the ring. Del Rio looks on as Show goes crazy and tears up the ringside area.

* Christian beat Sheamus in the main event. Randy Orton was at ringside watching. Orton chases Christian off after the match and runs back down to punt Sheamus in the head to end the show.

- Orton promo to start us off, a good build up for the feud against Christian but WHA-? Adding Sheamus, please don't be stupid Teddy. Sheamus is a Main Eventer no doubt but this has been all about Orton & Christian for the past month.

- A RAW Rematch, I don't dig it at all... Would have worked better if the heels won this round around.

- Do I sense a Sheamus face turn coming up?

- Jinder beats a big man... Vladimir Kozlov. I wonder if he used the same finisher he has the past few weeks? Would look weird on a bigger guy if you ask me.

- What the hell is the point of knocking out Mark Henry? Big Show is on RAW not Smackdown. Why are we having RAW on Smackdown? There was no purpose here.

- The Divas tag continues on once again, I actually like this because it utilizes the Divas Division here. Could be used well if only the Divas' title wasn't merged.

- Johnny Curtis is going to debut soon, I am not interested. Pass.

- ADR/Big Show segment on Smackdown, why? WHY? WHY? Seriously the build up on RAW was enough, no need to redo a segment for Smackdown. Could have used Sheamus in the ring instead of the backstage promo or at least put Trent Barretta against someone here.

- Christian wins but wait... Sheamus isn't in the Main Event so Orton punts him in the head. Once again, no purpose whatsoever... This looks like a Smackdown I won't be watching. Looks DUD to me.

Not a good show from first glance.

- Wait when did Orton get a concussion?

- With the RAW rematch the finish is meant to be really odd. Supposedly DiBiase kicks out but it is counted as a three count.

- Kozlov? He is on RAW! Good that Jinder Mahal beat a big man but why not use a Smackdown wrestler.

- I don't know why Show and Del Rio are on Smackdown. Pointless and then Show takes out one of Smackdowns top heels.

- I just want to see Johnny Curtis wrestle.

- The Uso's might be next in line for a tag team title shot against Otunga & McGillicutty.

- Christian rightly wins the match but there was no need for Orton to take out Sheamus.

A couple of good moments but most of it looks like crap. I don't know why there are three RAW wrestlers on the show and taking out Henry and Sheamus is stupid.

I agree, Smackdown looked pointless and when you look at SD's Roster here were the people not used;

Brodus Clay (He's in FCW now, so no point)
Chavo Guerrero (Wrestled in Superstars - could have jobbed out to Jinder Mahal)
Tyson Kidd (Used on Superstars)
Yoshi Tatsu (Also used on Superstars)

When you look at it this way, Smackdown pretty much used everyone they could but Sheamus/Henry feud could have been added to CP if they turned Sheamus face during that backstage segment with Christian.

WWE are lacking faces in the Main Event scene and the Mid-Card scene seems sloppy, tag matches and such... At least SD's mid-card is used more then RAW's.

I didn't see Kane or Trent Baretta on the show either. Kane could easily be feuding with Sheamus or Mark Henry and if they didn't job Baretta out every week he could be a midcard face. I would rather have seen Kane and Barretta wrestle Sheamus and Mark Henry in a tag team match and Kidd vs. Tatsu in a singles match rather than the Show vs. Del Rio feud.

Kane was on Superstars (Rare appearance) - He beat Kidd who had JTG as Manager :/

Kane vs Sheamus would be a nice feud. Baretta needs mic time and a gimmick, he could easily be the next IC Champion if used right. I'd love to see Baretta vs DiBiase or Cody feud.

I hope to god Sheamus being punted was when the show went off air, I've been live before and it's easy to cut stuff like that off.

Can't believe they don't have Kane in a proper feud on Smackdown. They desperately need more faces and he can feud with any of the top heels on Smackdown.

When Baretta had that mini feud with McIntyre I thought that they would do something with him after that but apparently not. Baretta vs. DiBiase would be good.

I hope to god Sheamus being punted was when the show went off air, I've been live before and it's easy to cut stuff like that off.

I didn't think of that. Hopefully you are right and it was done just for the live crowd.

Wait what the hell JTG was Tyson Kidd's manager. That makes no sense at all and sounds so bad. Smackdown looks like a mess and now you know why I can't do reviews on this show. Sheamus getting punted in the head smells trouble, he is one heel that Smackdown heels. Let Henry be out of action, not Sheamus. No idea why Big Show and Del Rio are feuding on SD, they are both on Raw. Smackdown is seriously a mess, I knew losing both Del Rio and Mysterio was wrong. Like I have been saying, I would be begging for Jericho to come back if I was Vince.

Tyson Kidd has been running this storyline on Superstars where every week he has a new manager so far he has had Michael Hayes, Armando Alejandro Estrada, Vickie Guerrero, JTG and maybe another one or two managers.

Sounds like a very weak Smackdown to me.

1. Just having a rematch from raw, but with the reverse result is lazy booking, besides that talent benefited from it on Monday night, but it is time to move on now.

2. Wow Henry/Big Show, I'd rather pull my own teeth out than watch that snore fest!

3. Don't get them teasing that the match on sunday could be a triple threat and then pulling the rug out from other people, and unless they are going to build on it long term with Sheamus, that was a waste.

I watched the highlights on wwe.com from this show, and there were 2 (out of 8) parts that I liked - the Big Show going nuts segment and the Usos vs Gabriel, Slater match.

The Big Show segment was not even that big, but something about the intensity on Rio's face and the crowd reaction to the whole situation made this seem like a pretty big moment, at least this week.

The Usos vs Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater match was pretty damn impressive. I mean I don't watch WWE Superstars, so I don't usually see the Usos perform, but damn, I'm glad they put them on Smackdown this time. They had no reaction whatsoever in the beginning, but by the end of the match the Usos impressed the hell of the crowd (and me) that they got a huge pop on their win. Good work from the Usos! Hell, they might be the saviors of the Tag Team division, who knows.

The Uso's impressed me when I saw them the other week, I think it was on RAW. They are a much better team then I remembered and I hope they get a run with the titles eventually. WWE need to ensure they are kept together and don't split them as a team too early which WWE have a habit of doing.

Slater is quite underated also, and giving further exposure to the Usos can only be a good thing.

Just watched this today and it was pretty sub-par. I was impressed with the Uso's also and while I'm not a Slater fan, he gets way to much criticism from the IWC, the guy is decent in the ring. Interested to see if Zeke wins the IC title who he gets and no one screams challenger to me.

With Sheamus and Mark Henry seemingly going nowhere I can see one of them challenging Zeke for the IC if he wins it.
