Triple H has been coaching R-Truth to really take his character to the maximum. R-Truth saying more random things and having more promo time has been a result of Triple H pushing him. He wants the character to be more silly comedy than dancing and rapping.

I actually prefer this Truth character to the singing & dancing one. Hopefully it'll continue for a long time.

I'll trade him to SmackDown for Hornswoggle AND A BOX OF SPIDERS.

I love this character as well. When R-Truth was his old rapping self, he never got a crowd reaction besides them saying WHATSUP! Now that he has changed his gimmick, the crowd hates to love him. I enjoy watching his promos and backstage scenes, because he plays his part so well. Hopefully he continues doing an awesome job and I am glad HHH let R-Truth in the EC match.

Truth's character is perfect for babyface. He's doing good stuff, always makes me smile at the very least when he cuts a promo.

Curious to know the amount of "coaching" HHH is doing I mean wrestlers are coached by vets all the time.

Nice, I'm loving R-Truths work lately and he has really stepped up with cutting promos. He's hilarious and the crowd love him. I don't know how the other superstars kept a straight face when he done his promo on this weeks RAW. :lmao

I am still amazed that this crazy character has worked out so well for him. His rapping would get people interested for a little bit but now he gets a great reaction each time he comes out. Good luck to him that he can make some money near the end of his career out of this.

Maybe if his RAP songs weren't generic garbage... Oh wait that is the only reason Whats UP was popular.

So yeah this is working out well but seeing how straight forward of a wrestler and character Triple H was... I'm just not sure coaching Truth in a comedy sense makes even well any sense. I think it's more Truth being able to take a hold of his current character.

I absolutely love R-Truth with the comedy, it fits him so well and his promo on RAW was probably the best I've seen for a long time. He is suited as a face and keeps me entertained, I hope it continues for a long time.

Not sure why you say Triple H was too straight a character in the original DX he was pretty funny. Like this decision and Truth has been pure greatness in the last few months.

Most people with at least HHH's personality can pull off something that relates to what a drunk, college student acts like. He does have a good sense of humor but nothing about Truth's character makes me feel more than just HHH is encouraging him.
