But the champion did not have a moment to rest last night, as Samoa Joe crept up behind him and put Kingston’s lights out with the Coquina Clutch.

Who will be next to step up to Bayley?

At WWE Stomping Grounds, Bayley turned back the challenge of Alexa Bliss, defeating The Goddess to retain her SmackDown Women’s Championship. When asked who should be next to step up to the plate, The Hugger named just about everyone on the Team Blue roster, from Charlotte Flair to Liv Morgan.

Looks to be a pretty decent SmackDown following up on the threads left on Raw. Will Joe get his title shot?

Will Shane get another Taker chokeslam? More Revival, Usos, New Day? Yes, please.

It may be unpopular, but I like that these shows can actually flesh out the angles more with two shows.

Just posted in the Extreme Rules thread as you posted this that WWE has confirmed the Joe/Kofi match already lmao I mean we knew it was happening but seems really early to officially confirm it from a kayfabe perspective

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised they'd announce it ahead of SmackDown.

They must be worried about SmackDown ratings and think this will help get viewers.

They have the last few weeks really been good at building up stories, I'll give it that. Bot shows last week really were enjoyable for me as well. Raw was when I woke up and finished it lol. PPV was even good for me. So I'm liking it a bit more and seems to be doing something for me.
