Certainly don't agree that Chavo got Rey over, he was hot poperty back then, and don't agree about the talents of Chavo, I used to rate him, but now he is very avenge, a postition back stage is fine for him.

After Smackdown this week it seems like we will get to see Sin Cara vs Chavo Guerrero in a feud on Smackdown.

Good point, kudos to those who suggested this feud would happen.

I'm wondering how over Chavo's going to be though. Wasn't it just at the Rumble where he hit the three amigos and the crowd went nuts?

He's never on television, suddenly he's on commentary, I thought that was odd. Hopefully they can put on some nice matches.

A mark out moment like that and being over in a long running feud are two different things, I don't think Chavo has the skills anymore to carry someone like Sin Cara, a one off match might be good, but not a whole feud. Daniel Bryan would be far better suited for the role.

Bryan wouldn't be a bad idea but I don't ever see him filling a role as a heel in the WWE. I just think they see him as an Evan Bourne type who's never really going to get a major run or tweak of the character.

Eventually he'll wind up in TNA

Daniel Bryan would only work if they were involved in some sort of qualifying match or title match. Being both faces would make it difficult for the two to have a feud.

Chavo is still a good hand, and knows the style and can mask the botchy nature of Lucha Libre. Who the fuck cares about him jobbing to Hornswoggle when he gets a chance to feud with the new hot acquisition. He got over Rey in his debut month, because no matter the hoopla surrounding Mysterio's devut, it could've been cut short if given inferior workers, like what happened to poor Ultimo Dragon and the lackluster cruiserweights he was saddled with.

Chavo can still wrestle, he just hasn't been booked strongly for the past year or two or possibly three. Still, he is a guy that can wrestle and his style will work well with Sin Cara. As deezy mentioned he was the one who Mysterio first feuded with and he helped get Mysterio over. He can do the same for Sin Cara on Smackdown. Plus he is there to basically job to Sin Cara so it isn't like they need him to be hugely over as a heel.

I didn't say he couldn't still work, just not to a good enough standed, like I said a one off match maybe, but no more.

The Sin Cara vs. Chavo Guerrero matches at WWE live events have been getting rave reviews internally. It was noted that Cara works well with Guerrero and that Chavo “is still an asset” when not being used in comedic roles.

Got this from the WrestlingSmarks News feed bot. This bodes well for their feud on Smackdown. They have yet to wrestle on tv but when they do it should be really good. This mini-feud will help give Sin Cara more confidence and might show WWE that Chavo can be used more effectively as an actual wrestler.
