That would have been...interesting.

I have no doubt he would have pulled it off. But writer to think about.

Interesting, trailer wouldn't be due until October/November, but I imagine they'll have SOMETHING on hand if they're gonna be there. And after last years leaks, whatever that something is is bound to end up online.

True, but it still turned up at around the expected time. Most trailers tend to arrive about 6 months ahead of release.

Also, Marvel continues to chug along as their other two 2017 movies: Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor Ragnarok have begun filming. Spider Man is in Atlanta while Thor is in Australia.

Tom Holland posted a spider selfie giving us a good look at the webhead.

Marvel and Netflix had a field day at comic com unveiling four teasers for their upcoming shows. One for Luke Cage, one for Iron Fist, one for The Defenders, and a sizzle reel. In addition, Daredevil was renewed for season 3. Not bad eh?

Defenders teaser was sort of pointless, but it does seem to point to The Hand being the main antagonist, which is disappointing. Wonder where they're gonna slot Daredevil S3 in?

Next post will be the movie stuff from last night, so bare with, this may take a while.

Okay, let's try & do this in some sort of release date order

Firstly, Marvel Studios have a new intro logo and it's DOPE

Doctor Strange has it's second trailer ahead of its November release.

Next, we have a new logo for Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 2

Guardians-of-The-Galaxy-Vol.-2-645x370.jpg

Plus, some more details on the movie:

– According to IGN, it was confirmed today during the Marvel Studios Comic Con panel that has a new logo and villain. The site confirms that Elizabeth Debicki is confirmed to play the role of Ayesha, a villain from the comics, which they say, “doesn’t have any ties to the Guardians in the Marvel comics.” The film opens on May 5th, 2017 and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell…

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Also confirmed was Kurt Russells role in the film & it's

Star-Lord's father, Ego, as long expected

Footage was shown at Comic Con, but it has yet to hit the net. If it doesn't leak before then (hi DC!), expect the first trailer in late October/early November.

Next up is Spider-Man:Homecoming, with the first concept art revealing the Vulture look we're getting

Thor: Ragnorak also gets the new logo treatment

We also have a new logo for Black Panther and some confirmed casting!

Black-Panther-Logo.jpg

– According to superherohype.com, during the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic Con, the studio confirmed several cast members for the Black Panther film. Chadwick Boseman will star as T’Challa/Black Panther, reprising his role from Captain America: Civil War. He is joined by Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger (a villain in the source material), Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia (a former member of Wakanda’s Dora Milaje, now an agent of Killmonger), and Danai Gurira as Okoye (a member of the Dora Milaje, the wives-in-training for the King of Wakanda).

While not official, the site notes that Andy Serkis’ Ulysses Klaw and Martin Freeman’s Everett Ross are likely to appear.

And finally in probably the biggest news of the evening, we have our Captain Marvel in Brie Larson!

Still not sure why they had to do a Luke Cage series. Got enough of him in Jessica Jones honestly.

Just should have done Iron Fist and moved on to The Defenders sooner.
