TNA Wrestler Interested In Joining WWE?
Posted on 19 Nov 2011 by Ryan Clark

The official Twitter feed for the Power Slam wrestling magazine stated Thursday that a TNA wrestler is considering joining WWE.

"Someone told me this week that Rob Van Dam is seriously considering a return to WWE," wrote Findlay Martin, magazine editor.

Van Dam performed for WWE from 2001 to 2007 before joining TNA Wrestling in 2010. Should RVD return to WWE, he would should join a select group of former WWE world champions—Booker T, Kevin Nash and Mick Foley—who joined TNA and ultimately returned to the Stamford based organization. I would take this with a grain of salt.

I guess he got or is getting bored.

I'd take him back if he is used right. His matches should be saved and at best he should be in the midcard title division or half of a team to put a young guy over. Also wouldn't suck to see him at WM.

If he does go back to the WWE then I will be happy, RVD could have some great matches there. I think TNA isn't as challenging so he's bored.... Only kidding :) but i do want him back in the WWE.

Report seems very thrown together but if true kinda doesn't surprise me simply because TNA isn't doing shit with him and hasn't for months. Has no real feud and gets left off shows half the time. Personally would like to see him back in WWE as a midcard/uppermid card guy like he usually was in WWE. Guy is always gonna be over with the fans only thing is with them testing for weed is gonna be a huge problem for RVD.

Maybe they can go ahead and set up a signing bonus, only for him to forfeit it to cover the fines lol. $2500 a violation is going to be a bitch for a guy like him, but at the same time he would probably make that cash in a night working for WWE

Prior to seeing him in TNA I would have said absolutely, but now after seeing him seemingly half ass his way around doing exactly the same stuff as years gone by, it's a resounding no from me.

I was about to mention the weed situation, If Van Dam can get a paycheck and get away with smoking Marijuana then he seems to be in a pretty comfortable position. Well thats how i'd see it if i was the guy.

I would like to see RVD return though, He was always one of the main reasons i'd tune into Raw and with the Royal Rumble around the corner who knows? He's already appeared at a Rumble seemingly out of nowhere a few years ago and WWE tend to bring some old school talent to take part in the Rumble match.

He could lose 30K if they test him every month like everyone else for weed. That is a lot of dough, but in reality that isn't that bad if he gets say 500K from WWE as his downside.

I don't see much need or excitement in an RVD return. His matches have pretty much become the same thing rinsed and repeated over and over again. I mean yeah that happens when you stop caring but... still for it to show that much is not good. What would happen once he gets bored in WWE?

Aren't they starting to suspend for it now like they did with Truth though. If it's just fines then I just see him setting aside some fine money but if he'd actually get suspended for it though then well he'll never get on T.V

As a fan of RVD's and a WWE fan, I would love to see a WWE return for him. But only if he is utilized correctly. I wouldn't want him to return and job to guys he have no business jobbing to. But overall, I would love a RVD return to the WWE.

I can't see him going back he said he didn't want to because of the schedule back when he was a free agent, don't see him changing his mind now

WWE were never that interested Van Dam when they had him so I don't see why they would want to take him back, based on his TNA form. Also his attitude and drug use would put them off. I actually think he is happy to stay with TNA, its a lighter schudle and he is gurreteed being a regular near the top of the card. Never say never, but for now I think his future is with TNA.
