[Q1] A video hyped the two eliminations that will take place on tonight's broadcast. The opening video aired. Michael Cole and Josh Mathews welcomed us to the show. Co-host Jamie Keyes stood in the ring and introduced the remaining rookies.

As the rookies stood in the ring, Matt Striker informed everyone of the two eliminations tonight and the season finale in two weeks. Every rookie cut a one minute promo about a topic of their choice. Percy Watson's topic was "3D." He turned it into an anagram and said, "Oh yeah!" at the end.

Alex Riley said Kaval could not defend himself in "real life." He did say he did not regret calling Striker a nerd. Michael McGillicutty ran down each rookie in heel fashion. Good stuff from McGillicutty.

Kaval said behind every great man is a great woman, and he has two of them. Kaval rapped and said at the end, "I'm the only reason for total, nonstop action." ...

Husky Harris talked about cowboy boots and the ones he was wearing belonged to Barry Windham. Nice...

Striker said tonight was a double elimination night and the first elimination was taking place right now. The "WWE Draft" random flash of wrestlers played on the screen and Percy Watson was eliminated. He then cut a classy and impressive exit promo... [C]

[Q2] 1. Zack Ryder defeated Michael McGillicutty (with Kofi Kingston) in 3:48. Ryder scored the first nearfall after taking advantage of the match on the floor. A lot of back and forth, but Ryder hit the Rough Ryder for the win...

Backstage, LayCool did some stupid cheer for Kaval. Layla and Michelle then agreed Kaval was cute. Husky Harris walked by and asked to Michelle, "Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again?" Michelle went with the latter. Husky said she would see it his way when he beats Kaval tonight... [C]

[Q3] 2. Kaval (with Michelle McCool and Layla) defeated Husky Harris (with Cody Rhodes) in 3:06. Kaval bled from the mouth. McGillicutty did the same in the first match. Kaval dominated the beginning and end of the match. He hit the Warrior's Way (double stomp from the top rope) for the win...

The second elimination was hyped... [C]

Did you know? SummerSlam was number on the Google search page on Sunday...

3. Kofi Kingston (with Michael McGillicutty) defeated Alex Riley in 1:55. Riley had a short offensive spurt, but Kofi took control and hit Trouble in Paradise for the win...

The final elimination of the night was hyped... [C]

[Q4] Did anyone notice in the SummerSlam charity commercial, Matt Hardy says, "Libary"? A lot of people do this. Do they not see the first "R" in the word?" ...

The Raw Rebound focused on The Nexus winning a series of matches last night, followed by kicking Darren Young out of the group...

In the ring, Michael Cole said Alex Riley should win and Kaval should be eliminated. The camera panned in way too close. Even his wife was saying, "Back that thing up a bit." Josh Mathews agreed with Cole's opinion. It's currently snowing in hell... [C]

The rookies stood on the floor in front of the ring. No rankings this week. Husky Harris was eliminated...

[Overrun] Cody Rhodes blew a gasket. He wished Zack Ryder the best in his future endeavors, said Layla wants to make out with everything, and then even argued with Husky. Husky said it was his time, but Cody said he was going to tell everyone why it would be his time.

Cody then tore new ones for the all of the other rookies. He attacked Kaval. Husky joined in. Kaval hit the Warrior's Way on Husky on the floor as Cody got the hell out of there. The remaining rookies and pros waved goodbye to Cody and Husky...

Percy Watson the first eliminated which is good news, his gimmick didn't work for me and was certainly the weakest of the final five.

Husky Harris was the next eliminated which leaves the top three in the final three spots which is nice.

Alex Riley, Kaval and Michael McGillicutty would all be deserving winners and will all have strong WWE careers after NXT.

Sad to see Percy and Husky go but if you look at the 3 left...I can't really argue. Watson's gimmick really did work for me and they killed his babyface routine with his week 3 (or whenever it was) heel turn on MVP only to come back the next week and be face again. He can go in the ring and his ENTHUSIASM towards his gimmick is insane. Husky is ready for TV as we speak, he just needs mic time because he's ready to go in-ring. All five of the guys could make it on the main roster.

I don't get these end angles. It's always a beat down but the next week it's not followed up. Weird.

It is a very strong final three, and true Husky and maybe even Percy will be on the main roster after the show finishes, and to think that these guys were all working in FCW. If WWE put time into these guys then most if not all can make it if they get the right gimmick.

I didn't understand the finish either. A beat down to get rid of them, weak heel heat and a pointless end to a show since like you said they never follow up on these things.
