The John Report: WWE Superstars: April 1st 2010.

Match Number 1: Kofi Kingston and MVP Vs. Zack Ryder and Carlito [with Michael Tarver]

Jerry Lawler tells us he's worn out as we start the broadcast. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler talk for a few seconds about WM Weekend.

Carlito and MVP start things off and MVP jumps down to the floor after Michael Tarver who is talking trash with MVP. MVP pushed Tarver and then he goes after Tarver and knocks him down with another punch. Carlito and Ryder jump to the floor to calm Carlito's Rookie down. Everything seems calm, So let's get on withe match please after that pointless tussle. Why's Tarver with Carlito again? He'd be much better suited with someone like Big Show.

MVP connects an arm drag and Carlito backs into the corner. Carlito does an irish whip but MVP floats over and hits a shoulder tackle. MVP brings Zack into the ring and hits a running forearm on him. MVP connects with the ballin' elbow, He then waits for Ryder to get up but Carlito pulls him to the floor. Kingston and MVP connect with baseball slides to Carlito and Ryder who are standing outside the ring.

Later on in the match, Carlito tags in and punches MVP. Carlito connects with a neck-breaker and gets a near-fall. Carlito applies a rear-chin lock.

Carlito then does a springboard back elbow which gets a near-fall. Ryder tags in. He connects with a forearm to the back followed by a snap mare and further kicks to the back. Ryder drop kicks MVPs back for a near fall. Carlito tags back in and continues to kick MVP in the back. What's with all the back kicking?

MVP hits an overhead-belly-to-belly on Carlito. Kofi tags in and he hits a cross body followed by a chop and drop kick. Kofi hits the boom drop and then gets ready for Trouble In Paradise. Ryder attempts to interefere but Kofi deals with him. MVP connects with a running boot to knock Ryder to the floor. Kofi hits trouble in paradise. He covers Carlito and gets a 3 count. In my opinion, This match wasn't bad. MVP and Kofi worked well together but I didn't see what was the point of the involvement of Tarver.

Winners: MVP And Kofi Kingston

We are shown the usual Wrestlemania recap video package with Cena talking about WM.

We are told we'll see the farewell from Shawn Michaels that aired on Raw.
It's shown that Wrestlemania will air from Atlanta. Goldberg?

Kevin Rudolf's "I Made It" song is played along with the WWE.com Homepage.

Match Number 2: Yoshi Tatsu Vs. William Regal [With Skip Sheffield]

Before the match starts, We are shown a video package of what happened before Wrestlemania where Yoshi won the over-the-top battle royal. Lol at Cole saying 'It was physical sometimes'. What the hell? Sometimes.. It's a wrestling match, Moron.

They both lock up. Yoshi decides to work on the arm but Regal rolls through and reverses. Yoshi kicks and connects with a hammerlock into the a side-head lock. Regal tries for a shoulder tackle but Yoshi stays on his feet. Yoshi kicks Regal a few times and gets a near-fall. Are you kidding me? A near-Fall already. Sheesh. Regal throws Yoshi to the floor but he holds onto the ropes and gets a near-fall. Yoshi applies a side-head lock but Regal gets out. Regal hits a back-elow followed by a butterfly suplex for a near fall. Regal applies a chin lock and arm bar. Regal tries for a forearm but Yoshi is too quick with a kick. Yoshi goes to the top right but Regal moves and Yoshi missed the spin kick. Regal puts Yoshi in the Regal Stretch. Yoshi makes it to the ropes. Yoshi goes to the apron and kicks Regal in the head twice and then gets the three count on Regal. What a crappy way to lose this match for Regal. He deserves more than that shitty match. He can put on a great match sometimes.

Winner: Yoshi Tatsu

We are told John Cena will be on True Jackson VP. Whatever that is. But oh well, Something goes wrong and that video is dropped for a promo about Shawn Michaels. We are also shown a promo about Wrestlemania Moments.

The show returns from the commercial and its smackdown's turn as Todd
Grisham and Matt Striker are at ringside.

We are given a video package of what happened on Raw.

Match Number 3: Caylen Croft and Trent Barreta Vs. David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd [With Natayla

Caylen gets on the mic and reminds everyone of who they are. They are called the Dudebusters, Apparently. Trent says they are the coolest team ever.

They are now heels apparently as Striker saw them playing footsie together whilst Shawn Michaels speech was on. That's not being a heel, That's being gay.

Kidd and Barreta start off and Kidd works on the arm and Trent attempts a single leg trip. Kidd with a side-head lock and take down. Kidd does a shoulder tackle followed by a back kick and drop kick to the head for a near fall. Croft tags in but Kidd puts an arm bar on him before he tags in Smith.

Smith works on the arm and then he picks up Croft by the arm. Smith with an arm drag take down into the arm bar. Croft tries a knee and forearm but Smith blocks a dropkick and tries for the sharpshooter but Trent pulls Caylen out of the ring.

Back from the commercials, Trent hits a hard irish whip on Kidd as Croft is tagged in. Croft hits a knee to the back and gets near fall. Croft puts Kidd in a reverse chin lock. Trent tags in. Kidd gives them both a double drop kick. Kidd tags in Smith. Smith with a flying shoulder tackle and clothesline to Baretta also follows it up with a back body drop for a near fall but Croft breaks it up. Trent sends Smith into the ropes and then tries for a tornado DDT but smith blocks it. Kidd is tagged in. Kidd puts Barreta in the sharpshooter as he taps out. I'm really liking the Hart Foundation here. They are great faces and with the management of Bret Hart behind them hopefully a tag title shot could be in store for them.

Winners: David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd
