WWE SmackDown:

* SmackDown kicks off with MizTv featuring The Big Show and Dolph Ziggler. They discuss the events from this past Monday's episode of Raw. Triple H interrupts to confront both Ziggler and Big Show. Triple H announces The Miz will face Randy Orton later. He also announces that Dolph Ziggler will face The Shield in a handicap match with The Big Show at commentary.

* Randy Orton defeated The Miz with an RKO. After the match, The Shield comes out and attacks The Miz. Daniel Bryan runs out with a chair to make the save.

* Vickie Guerrero is backstage and angry that Daniel Bryan for making the save for The Miz. She calls Daniel a bully. She announces that Daniel Bryan will face Ryback later tonight.

* Rob Van Dam defeated Damien Sandow with a 5-star frog splash.

* Alberto Del Rio cut a promo on Ricardo Rodriguez and Rob Van Dam. He says he's going to remain World Heavyweight Champion at the Night of Champion's pay-per-view event.

* The Shield defeated Dolph Ziggler in a handicap match. Roman got the pin after connecting with a Spear. The Shield taunts The Big Show after the match, who was still at ringside.

* Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel cut a promo.

* The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan & Luke Harper) defeated Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay & Sweet T) Wyatt comes in after the match and nails his finisher.

* Daniel Bryan defeated Ryback via DQ after Randy Orton interferes. After the match, The Shield runs in and attacks Daniel Bryan. The Big Show finally gets up, but is checked by Triple H. The Shield and Orton continue to attack Bryan. Orton has a can of spray paint and is about to paint Bryan...

That finish to Smackdown reminds me a lot of nWo

Re: WWE Spoilers (8/30/13)

This storyline keeps getting better and I like how it is continuing on Smackdown rather than being a RAW exclusive. They needed a big storyline to help fill the gap whilst Cena is away and this is it. Triple H in this role works so well and I can't wait to see what the payoff is especially with Big show.

Looking forward to seeing the Wyatt Family tag match.

Only problem with the show is that they promote only two matches for NOC but then again they are the two world title matches.

Hopefully he sprayed RKO and is bringing back the old NWO styled shirt.

They should probably have Show help Bryan then bring up The Iron Clad contract.

WWE going with the jobber MITB push with Sandow, how original. Now we'll never see the cash in coming and he'll be such an amazing Champion because of the swerves nevermind the fact nobody takes him seriously. Winning MITB is the kiss of death.

Its not really a jobbing role. I'll never understand how everyone thinks people need to win every week. Even if Sandow is winning constantly, he is giving mic time, TV time, and long matches against big players. Losing to RVD isn't hurtful. Jobbing would be losing to Big Show in 3 minutes. Losing to Randy Orton, RVD, Sheamus, Christian, ect in 20 minute matches is nothing to be ashamed of.

Smackdown looks good again. Loving this Bryan/Orton angle more and more by the week.

Not saying he has to win every match, but has Sandow even won a single match since he won the briefcase? WWE has a hard on for this "ZOMG no one will see the cash in coming storyline". He's losing to directionless guys like Miz and Rhodes as well. WWE hasn't learned their lesson from Swagger, Dolph, etc. you cant just slap the Title on a guy you've put zero effort into making look credible and expect the fans to take them seriously. Cant go from jobber to Main Eventer in an instant.

Losing is fine. But like Embrace Thou Maryse said losing consistently isn't. It didn't work with Dolph, Didn't work for Punk, it didn't really work with Bryan and I can't really see it working with Sandow. It's just really awful booking.
