John Cena, Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk, Mark Henry, The Miz and Randy Orton all had an amazing year, but which competitor deserves to win the Slammy for “Superstar of the Year?"

In between the Slammy Award festivities, World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry and John Cena face-off on a special three-hour edition of Raw SuperShow. Will Cena pay for assisting Zack Ryder in defeating the 400-pounder last week?

My personal choice for Superstar of the Year as explained before would have to be Orton. Hoping this show is good though because most 3 hour shows tend to drag and are usually filled with shit.

2011 has pretty much been Punk's big break out year being the number 2 face in the whole WWE had the best feud of the year against Cena and since these things are of course kayfabed I think it's just too fitting for Punk to win it. If they went the heel route then Del Rio will win it.

Just watching SmackDown now and there was an advert on it for the Slammy's with the following categories.

Match Of The Year
Superstar Of The Year
Diva Of The Year
Reaction Of The Year
Breakout Star of The Year

Think MOTY will probably go to Punk/Cena at MITB although in terms of actual match quality I don't think it was as good as it was made out to be, just that the atmosphere and buildup to it really helped. DOTY will go to Kelly Kelly hands down and I would imagine that Breakout star could be a really difficult choice as you could have Ziggler, Cody, Ryder or Del Rio.

Reaction Of The Year: If this is the same as last year as far as fan reaction idk off the top of my head.
Breakout Star of The Year: Who will win - Del Rio. Who should win - Dolph Ziggler/Ryder as co winners.

If it's reaction in that sense then Punk's mitb reaction has to do get it that shit was just insane. Or you could even reach for Ryder's we want ryder chants through out SS.

Yeah thats why I figured it was about crowd facial reactions which if so there isn't one that stands out to me until they show them and remember them that way.

Breakout star is the only one I can't pick as both have had AMAZING years, and have owned the mid cards. Both are the saviors of the Mid Card. However, Del Rio, and Ryder also could be ones to watch for that award.
