It is degrading for the Raw World title that it is lower on the card then the Divas championship and the IC Championship

Damn that was a huge letdown! The show overall wasn't TOO bad but the results were fucking shit imo (mainly based on Punk/Hardy). I'm not a huge fan of CM Punk but he was finally starting to establish himself as a huge heel not only on Smackdown but in the WWE and then they have gay Jeff Hardy win the title off him. Punk had an awesome promo early in the show, probably the best thing about the PPV and now everything they did for him has been cut dead. The match itself wasn't even that great, if they were gonna have Hardy win they could have made Punk look good by having like a 30min match or something, instead they make him look like shit by having Hardy kick out of the GTS then lose.

Big Show as Jericho's partner, while it was unexpected I don't like it, theyre on different brands, nothing alike and the matches are gonna suck with Show there because now every match is going to be keep during in the ring and work on him then Big Show makes the big comeback, its boring and predictable. This will ruin Jericho for a while till Edge returns and they feud.

There was alot of other minor things I didn't like but those are probably the main two. Mysterio/Ziggler, while it wasn't as good as it could have been it wasn't too bad and it proved that Dolph has what it takes and he would make a great IC Champ, I'm actually happy Rey won, atleast one Champ in the WWE is holding his title for a fair amount of time although I think he will lose it soon. Suprised Maria didn't play a part in the match, maybe she will over the next few weeks on SD.

Pretty average show.

We got a normal Night of Champions. This shows are never good (over the last week I have seen Night of Champions 07 and 08), and they are never awesomely good.

Evil Austin, if anything, the fact that they had the Triple Threat that low in the card isn't degrading for the World Title, instead, it totally killed the IC and Women's Title match. By now, to me anyways, Triple H is just wrestling the same match time and time again. His Triple Threats all have the same format if you look at them and I just hope that if they give us Cena vs HHH, Triple H throws out of the window his "big match format of match" and do something different.

As for Jeff winning, it freaking sucks. CM Punk was well on his way to gaining momentum with his reign. Jeff Hardy is officialy now the "Momentum Killer". Every single time he has won the belt, it's on a time when Edge and now CM Punk are getting hotter and hotter as the champs.

Big Show and Y2J, well, that satisfies the demand of having a high profile, draw as Jericho's partner, but I agree, their matches are gonna be bad.

I hope the rumor of Carlito vs Primo at Summerlam is true btw after seeing the 6-Pack (which was very good tbh).

Anyways, I will close with what I said on the chat room:

It's going to be a LOOONG 2009 without Adam Copeland on our main events, specially if they keep hot shotting the junkie into the belt every 2 PPVs.

It was OK PPV for me. Nothing special but then again this ppv never is as pointed out above. 6pack and IC were best matches for me. Punks promo was great sucks that he lost i think he would have got better and better. Triple threat wasn't shit but wasn't that good. HHH needs to get far away from Orton as he can. It's doing him no favours what so ever. He totally needs a freshen up and change. Punk/Hardy match was OK could have been a lot better IMO but it wasn't bad. All in all wasn't great but i enjoyed it.

No appearance of HBK, Undertaker, and Batista will result in an mediocre PPV tbh.

It could be. I mean, CM Punk was doing too many weird mannerisms throughout the match.

I didn't watch. Heard they botched the ending to the Triple Threat match though.

It was awesome that when Y2J started telling that his partner will be... (the fans started chanting BATISTA BATISTA BATISTA!" lol then he said Big Show :smh

anyway, several botches actually happend. Rey Mysterio botched couple of times. Big Show couldnt lift Jericho (in that double team maneuver). The triple threat also had few botches.

^^^LOL.... Totally, what's the point of having a giant if he can't even lift a child-size body above his head???? ...Fuck, bring back The Ultimate Warrior!!! : P

Wouldn't suprise me given the ridiculous story he has been forced to tell over the last 2 months. What's more, if he WAS ridiculing the match of his own accord, I expect the backstage heat is already gathering momentum.

The repercussions of that PPV were fucking horrible....

Punk looks like an absolute joke. The GTS isn't worth shit now (Remember a half-dead Hardy also kicked out of Punks first succesfully executed GTS in the aftermath of the ladder match with Edge). I'm guessing we'll have some kind of extreme rules rematch at Summerslam, but considering the horrible booking of this fued they'll prob have Punk beat Jeff in what is his "speciality" (Notably having yet to emply heel tactics, he'd be winning a match where rules don't apply!). :pffffffff-:

The heel v heel nature of the tag match was a fail from the bell and Big Show being the secret partner was never gonna have enough wow-factor to add a modicum of interest to it.

Jericho now stuck in what's bound to be a shitty tag run which will culminate in a horrible fued with Show (and will pressumably delay the prospect of Jericho/Taker for god knows how long)... I think, yet again, WWE is playing a dangerous game with their fued combo's (see Jeff/Punk for example) as this could eventually turn Jericho face against Show (Y2J chants @ NOC anyone?), before Edge eventually returns for their teased fued ... Then what????

Furthermore, with Punk looking like a joke, unless the tag titles get relegated to being mere trinkets and they put Y2J in the WHC chase then they haven't currently even got a credible ME heel on SD.

Jericho should have gone at it with no-partner ("no-one would tag with me"... "It's a conspiracy" etc."), dropped the belts and free'd him up for WHC contention (A champ Jericho vs Jeff/Morrison/Rey is all they have for the coming months IMO).

As someone already mentioned above, the triple threat being so far down the card(***) totally took the wind out of the event as a whole (Mick v Maryse was barely worthy of opening the damn thing and it was a hell of a big ask of Rey & Ziggler to out-psyche/hype the biggest names in the company!).

(***Why??? ...OK, so they've had a 'million' combo's of HHH/Orton/Cena on Raw over the last month or so, but these guys are a draw becasue peeps WANT to see them... Why book a match with your 3 biggest draws in it if you don't think the fans want to see it that much?)

Shame to see Tommy drop the title... I'd have liked to have seen him run a little longer (They could have had Koslov interfere and worked towards an ECW tripe threat @ Summerslam).

Only thumbs up from me for the night is having Kofi retain...

Lastly, how fucking flakey was the "Oh, btw, Primo has replaced Show in this match" bullshit as the guys made their entrances?

...DID THEY BOOK THIS SHOW 5mins BEFORE AIR-TIME, FFS????

Aside from the Triple Threat, matchwise a very average PPV, but booking-wise awful!.

EDIT: Just thinking, didn't Big Show already refuse to be Y2Js partner on Raw a week or two ago????? Don't tell me.... It was a swerve?

Edit agaaaain: Given how little WWE care for their women's div's how the fuck can you have TWO women's matches on PPV and NOT have one of them open the show? ....Mickie v Maryse before the main event was utterly fucking rediculous!
