have to admit, I am not hyped for this show at all, like my fucks level is at a 0.1. I really just want to see AJ win the title. But i'm forced to watch as Brady and Gronk are not playing the late game. UGH!

Won't be watching this live but it really looks a weak card. Hopefully AJ can make Dean watchable and take the title off of him. Pulling for Becky to win the title but she seems too obvious to win, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them go with someone else for a curveball.

It's not exactly the best for outing first SmackDown, is it? That said I can't miss AJ Styles wining his first WWE World Title and I am interested in the crowning of the new Women's Champion on SmackDown.

I'm honestly pulling for either Alexa Bliss or Carmella. SmackDown would be be wise to start the women's division fresh with a newer face to build them and the division up together. Lynch wouldn't be my last choice, though, as she is certainly capable.

Nothing from WWE yet, but that would be a pretty big blow to their five match card.

Orton's off the card:

Randy Orton will not be competing tonight at WWE Backlash, PWInsider has confirmed. Orton was slated to wrestle Bray Wyatt. There is no word yet on how WWE will handle the situation in terms of its storylines.

According to multiple sources, Orton has yet to be cleared by WWE to compete in the ring after the TKO finish of the SummerSlam match against Brock Lesnar. WWE had been hoping Orton would be cleared over this past week, but that did not happen.

The issue appears to be concussion-related, which would mean Orton has not passed an Impact test.

There is a great chance that the scheduled rematch between Orton and Lesnar on September 24th in Chicago will not take place as well, unless Orton is cleared before then. As of now, that bout is still up in the air.

That certainly sucks. I wonder how WWE will handle replacing that match? WWE only has six matches scheduled.

At least WWE treating concussions a lot more serious. It makes you think about the logic in the SummerSlam finish.
