WPC 2021 Event #13 [Summer TakeOver]

The marching band is playing music all weekend long, because Event #13 is the second event booked for this coming weekend and will be a Super Card combing the matches from both Summer Slam and NXT TakeOver: 36. And just like Event #12, Summer TakeOver is jam packed with some major clashes in the WPC. Any 'King of the Ring' matches that were tied - will attempt to be broken at this event.

The winner of the contest between Haza, Jeff & Juice in the Grand Championship match - will defend the biggest prize in the WPC against the winner of the Open The Prediction Gate Championship match between Chris and Necro. If Chris and Necro tie though, we could see back-to-back triple threat matches for the Grand Championship.

The Open The Prediction Championship will also be contested for at Event #13 - and quite simply who will be challenging for the belt will be completed determined by the results of the previous event. What we do know is that, whoever is challenging for the Grand Championship will not be involved in the contest - and that the match will feature the two highest ranked eligible predictors.

As always - the Grand Prix Event Championship will be up for grabs. The question is, will Sky be still in possession of the championship coming into Event #13 or will we have new holder of the belt?

But of course the World Prediction Championship has enter into a new age, as we now live in the era of the Tag Team Division. As such two more matches are booked for the event. Bottom ranked Like Your Team, But Better will face Shinjuku Murder Klub whilst, The Lethal Divers go to head-to-head with The Blissfits in Action.

The result of the Five Person Eliminator match from Event #12 will have provided us with the top two ranked positions, with the winner of this contest becoming the inaugural Clout Cup Champion. The gimmick of this championship, will be explained once a champion is crowned.
