Those in WWE expect Andrade el Idolo to return.

Those close to him say that he may very well go back but is also open to stay in AEW if Tony Khan makes a better offer than WWE.

He would also like to work NJPW and would have wanted to do FantasticaMania in February but it conflicts with his schedule​

Still think him & Zelina together as an act is the way to go, it's a main event pairing under HHH imo​

I think most people expect him to return. But I’m with you Dale, you gotta put him with a manager. Preferably Zelina, but if they want to keep her babyface, maybe Elektra could work.

I mean if you wanted to do something similar but different, you could always go ahead and do Charlotte/Andrade if they were into it. Would definitely be something a little different for Charlotte for once.

That wouldn’t be bad if she wasn’t missing almost the entire year.

I’d say put him with Santos/Garza/Carrillo but he’d end up just being a background player again

I think he's doomed from the start if he's brought back in and straight into that faction.

Yeah the best scenario is just him and Zelina but I'd also like to see Zelina wrestling more, I was always peeved that she didn't in NXT during that run bc she's certainly talented enough to pull off both roles

I think the Continental classic has at least shown me that Andrade works better as a face than a fairly generic style heel too tbh

I think since returning as a babyface I've been more interested in him since NXT really, and the crowd has reacted even better than expected which is what really sold me it has more legs than turning him back heel

Sure but I'd argue all he's done is wrestle as a face (sort of, he was a heel vs danielson). So is he really that much more interesting or was the c2 just a great showcase for him. Interesting analysis to look at imo

Like to me being over in the ring was never an issue , it's just his character work is non existent
