What genre is the most hated by you, and actually give reasons.

Now, we always talk about stuff like "favorite genres", favorite bands, etc, but I want to see what is the most hated genre among the iwf members nowadays.
Now, even if you don't HATE one, don't just give the normal "I like all music", unless you actually do.

Anyways, fo rme, it has to be bluegrass. Call me crazy, but I just can't relate to tractors, farms, milking cows, cowboy hat's, vests and truck drivin'. The music is also pretty obnoxious with the fast paced violins and everything too, lol.

I might listen to tons of stuff, but there's always stuff that I can't stand.

Country - Sorry, but I'm a city kid. I would, but I just can't listen to that.

Screamo - When it's good, it's great, but now, there's so many shitty bands out there that all sound the same and need to stop. It's kind of like a fad now, with whoever screams the loudest and plays their guitars the most out of tune getting attention.

Some forms of rap - We get it. You fuck hoes, sell drugs and make money. Anything else?

Country- thank god there is none of this music on the radio or I would die, i cant stand it
Screamo- please, some variety would be nice but some songs are bearable
Rap for me is alright, but can get repetitive.

Also, boy band music, as the singers require no talent... it only makes it worse if the songs are played on the Disney Channel, eg. Jonas Brothers

Rap: All it is is shitty rhyming with a little bit of music in the background.

Boy Bands: Even growing up in the 90's I couldn't stand Backstreet Boys or N'Sync. Same way now I hate The Jonas Brothers, and all the others. They all sound like they just got stomped in the nuts. Always found it pointless!

Todays Rap: Eminem and Ice Cube are the only two rappers out there right now I can stand. But other than that I hate todays current rap. Back in the 90's with N.W.A, and groups like that it was great. But I don't care if you have shinny gold plated rims, fuck bitches 24/7, and have tons of money.

J-Rock: This was something I used to be real big into. Now it just sounds the same. Kinda made it worse that you can't understand what they are saying. So for all we know they could be saying "bomb American". Who knows!

Screamo: WTF is that? To me, all that Screamo is a bunch of guys strumming out of tune guitars and screaming 'ARGHAGHRGHAGHG' into a microphone. That ain't music folks

Heavy Metal: I can't stand it for the most part. Personally, it just seems like a lot of noise to me. I can understand why other people like it, just not my style

Techno/Dance: Ugh. Let's repeat the same line for 20 minutes, over a repetetive beeping sound! It's all fine if you're at a party or something, but I can't listen to it

Country: Oh god, it's awful. It's so screechy and I just hate it. Same with metal, I understand it's merit, just not what I'm into.

Pop: Now when I mean pop, I mean all that Christina Aguilera/rihanna shit. Pretty much the same reasons as Techno/Dance

The only genre that I absolutely refuse to listen to no matter what is techno. I have found at least one song from just about every other genre that I can at least stand, But Techno is just annoying.

I believe you're thinking of Death Metal. Screamo is actually melodic (well at least a little bit).

You know what, I have to throw screamo into the mix. Now, don't get me wrong, back in like, grade 7, I used to listen to it, but then I realised what kind of crap I was listening too... Firstly, you can argue it's turned into the biggest pose-fest in the world with it's fans. So many of the fans have now discovered it's the "in thing", and now go out and dress the part, even if they're actually some prep kid. Then you can talk about the music... Honestly, I've never seen a genre with as many sound-alike bands. And ontop of that, when one thing is "in" (screaming versus, singing choruses), they ALL do it... Then, when the next thing is in (singing versus, screaming choruses) they ALL do it. They all follow eachother, and it all sounds the same.
Biggest fad of the 2000's so far IMO.
