This is kind of piggybacking off of @Jacob Fox 's thread about Wrestling Death.

I would like to know what caused you to quit watching WWE. The first time for me was when Eddie passed away because I was, and still am, a huge fan of his, and when he passed away I just couldn't bring myself to watch WWE no more because my favorite wasn't there. The second time, which was last November, I quit was because WWE got too boring to me and way to predictable to me to enjoy.

I stopped watching for a bit around 2009, when John Cena was at the top of the card and him and Randy Orton were fighting on a weekly basis. I just got burnt out, watching basically the same match, week after week. That whole feud kinda killed my passion for wresting. Then NXT brought me back and I've been watching ever since.

Hm, I stopped in like 2002 or 2003 for no specific reasons, I just had lost interest but I still watched the shows once in a while, I started watching again in 2013.

I stopped watching because I'm from the UK and watching wrestling in the UK is an utter ball ache. I wouldn't be watching wwe if they didn't just give away all of their content on YouTube. Literally don't miss out on anything.

I remember watching Wrestlemania 32 and then the following summerslam and thought 'this is fucking shit'. WWE is pretty shit rn. Too many guys and girls. Nobody gets over and nobody gets proper thought out storyline. WWE having a large roster makes for really bad TV. I'm on the verge of not watching now. But even when wwe is shit, there is still goodness to be found. Also the banter is fun.

Why I have been watching WWE less started with Backlash, ya'll remember Backlash last year? I was watching despite work the next day so I decided to watch and after match 1... Dreadful. Then AJ vs Shinsuke, it wad getting better, then Double Balls kick... And a draw two matches in a row. I was pissed that I went through that entire... Awful show and got one good opener and then shit, until the one match I was really looking forward to... Frustrated me. That show basically made me not watch Raw or Smackdown for months to the point where I don't know when the last time I watched was. Then WWE wise, NXT Chicago II I watched, great, but then I didn't have time for PPVs or Raws and SDs if I did want to watch them... Except most of the time I didn't. Then by the time I started to have more time, the Saudi II thing and all its controversy happened and it left a really bad taste in my mouth and any time I considered since then, the stuff was mostly disinteresting. I only really watched the Rumble this year on the basis that it's the Rumble and if I watch Mania it will only be because it is Wrestlemania.

Although non-WWE wise in the past year I watched WK, Dominion, a few G1 matches, and All In... Enjoyed those.

I didn't watch from like 09-10, no specific reason for it. A lot of my friends stopped watching around that time too because Jeff Hardy left the company after his feud with Punk and they were all big Jeff marks. But when I stopped watching, his feud with Punk just kicked off so I can't put it on that.

Nevertheless, I got back into it a year later when the Miz won the WWE title. For some reason that really hooked me because I couldn't believe the transition he went through in just a bit over a year.
I still remember my mom buying me a Miz action figure in 07 and the other kids laughed at me for it, but when he won that title I made sure to let everyone know that they can eat shit

I'm really bad for missing months at a time. Every year around September to January when the post slam slump happens I just stop watching. I keep up to date on what's happening via Twitter and Youtube but don't watch any of the shows. I tell myself every year I'm gonna stick around and I never do. I think the last time I watched a Survivor Series PPV was when Sting made his WWE Debut.

I took a break last Summer-Fall because of school work load, too much 50/50 booking, and Reigns wins lol.

What did it for me was Bobby Lashley defeating Roman Reigns at extreme rules meant absolutely nothing. The rematch was on RAW and of course Reigns beats Lashly and then goes to SummerSlam to face Brock. I didn't bother with SummerSlam and didn't return until Royal Rumble.

Backlash last year made me cut back a lot.. That was the worst show I've seen in years.. Now I watch 1 or 2 shows a month.

Backlash was a major problem with me, you look at all the great talent on the show and every match was a disaster, except the opener.. It shows they're lazy and they don't give a shit, it's insulting to the fans.
