In this thread, we share our video game memories as a child.

Here's a few stories of my own childhood.

-I was so obsessed with the Mega Man series when I was a kid. I fell in love with 2 and 3. I thought 3 would be the end of the series. When I saw MM4 in a video rental store, I had this reaction, and I'm dead serious "What?! Am I Seeing things?! Mega MAn FOUR??!??!?". My friend laughed his butted off and for good reason, lol. NAturally I begged my parents to rent the game, and buy the magazine (I bellieve it was Gamepro) with MM4 on the cover. Good times.

-I had a similar reaction when Final Fantasy 3 (VI) came out. 2 (IV) blew me away, amd wanted more. I rented the game, and even got it for Christamas in 94.

-My first time playing a Mortal Kombat game was wth my sis. We rented the SNES version of MKII. It wasn't my first time playing a Fighter, that being Super Street Fighter II I believe it was. But I hadn't played MK2 yet, and didn't know the moves nor the fatalies. I picked Mileena's and actually did her fatality move on my sis'S character without me even knowing how to do it. She was freaking pissed...

Gonna do one game for now, but it was one with many great memories.

The first one in Fallout 3 is when you leave the bunker and get that first glimpse of the wasteland. The second one would be wandering across the wasteland and stumbling upon a carriage. I looked inside and there were limbs in there. I thought to myself "why are these here, and what's that big thumping sound?"

It was a god damn giant brute running down the hill to attack me. Poop came out.

I had this game as kid called: The Battle of Olympus. a greek mythology game where you go through the game battling Madusa and the sort to save Olympus. Don't know why this game always seems to come to my mind from time to time and thinking it would be fun to play right now.

I also loved the game Blaster Master. A game where you drove this weird looking car around that had weapons on it. Could play that for hours.

My experience with Final Fantasy VII in it's entire glory. I could go on for hours about all of the events in the game. Then there is Shenmue. I highly suggest both games.
