Under Siege [Impact Wrestling] - May Event #3

Under Siege will be one of two events taking place this weekend, and with the WPC Grand Prix Event Championship event there is even more to play this round as we continue our onslaught to find a winner in the May Cup. There will be a total of nine matches on the card for this event, and with the cancellation of NJPW event Event #3 could prove to be more critical to the May Cup that previously thought. Under Siege [Impact Wrestling] - May Event #3 Results

As the fifth month of the WPC Grand Prix 2021 continues, we have a group all vying to become the May Cup winner. Even more attention though is focused on the WPC Grand Prix Event Championship, following the title being vacated after more than two people are tied tied in 1st place following Blood & Guts. And for a brief moment in time it looked like the title was going to remain vacant as both Lethal Banks and Juice were joint at 6-3 for the event, and were also joint in the standing with nothing to separate the pair. However, this was not he case as the duo actually ended up being tied in 2nd position meaning that our...

...is Smark, who now claims the championship belt for the third time and is the only person in the field to have won the title in this calendar month, with an enforced title vacation separating his 2nd and 3rd reign. Will Smark be able to hold onto the title after Event #4 or will only be able to hold onto the title for 24 hours. The rest of the field posted a score of 5-4, apart from Chris who was the only predictor to score a negative differential.

Smark's great start to May has only continued with a number massive score differential added to his overall tally for the month of May, with HoHo a little bit behind in second place. Conservative predicting at Wrestlemania Backlash as well as the final event of the month at AEW Double or Nothing could see Smark put himself in a very comfortable position in claiming the May Cup.
