So this card is coming up on Saturday and i've got my Hendricks gif in support :alicia:

Not a great card by any means but the Main and Co-Main definitely have my interest. I think both of the fights could legit end in a (T)KO for either guy if I'm being honest although I'm really pulling for Hendricks and wouldn't mind seeing Condit win aswell for a rematch.

Diego is Diego and I hope he's in the mood for it and the Lombard/Shields fight either has the potential to be a quick KO win for Lombard or a potential stinker.

Will also be looking out for the Gastelum/Story and Pennington/Andrade fights too.

I'm still hype for this show. Ready to see it.

I think Lawler could possibly take it from Hendricks.

I just don't really care for Condit so I kinda wanna see him lose.

I have huge hopes for Shields... I like Shields. So I'm hoping it won't be a quick KO or anything but this is a real dangerous fight for him.

Diego... well I'm pretty sure his fight won't be boring.

Home from watching the fights and overall... it was pretty good.

Opener was nice. That choke out was real nice. I was like whoa. That was unexpected cause you usually don't see someone choke the other guy out from that position.

Lombard vs. Shields... expected Lombard to win... wanted Shields to win though but it wasn't boring at all. Shields hung in there but Lombard... that dude is on the rise for real and he'll be getting a title shot soon. Its like who can stop him.

Sanchez vs. Jury... pretty good fight but Sanchez needs to change his style a bit. Not everyone is going to stand toe to toe with him like Melendez.

Condit vs. Woodley. Woodley was doing pretty good and landed a few good shots but mannnn Condit's knee got wrecked. You know its a hard leg kick when you kick the left leg and the right knee is the one that gets wrenched. Something definitely got torn in there. He'll be out for rest of the year at least. But man it was a good fight. Just sucked it had to end like that.

Main event... Lawler vs. Hendricks. And man alive Hendricks can take a shot. A ton of shots cause Lawler was nailing him. Hendricks was dropping a few bombs as well and a couple times either of them could have finished the other but it was a good and competitive fight. Real close. I thought it would have went split decision. But congrats to Hendricks. Of course I wanted Lawler to win.

Shame to see the Woodley/Condit fight end the way it did as it was turning into a pretty intriguing fight. Woodley seemed to be landing the more significant stuff but I thought he slowed down a fair bit so would have been interesting to see if Carlos could of turned it on.

Hendricks/Lawler was a great main event. Both guys just stood there toe to toe for literally 5 minutes and just swung to the final bell. Really close fight, Hendricks taking Rounds 1 & 2, Lawler taking 3 & 4 and then Hendricks coming on strong to take the decisive 5th round. Close fight sure but Johnny was definitely the deserving the winner.

Who gets the next crack at the belt i'm not really sure. You could say Woodley because he beat Condit but it wasn't really a performance I'd give a total shot off of mainly due to the way it ended too even though that's not his fault. Lombard must surely be in the mixer too and now Nick Diaz is saying he's ready to fight again but he has to win a fight first imo so I'm guessing it goes to Rory by default really even though i've not been impressed with the guy for a while.

Hendricks/Rory for the belt, Woodley/Lombard for #1 Contenders & Diaz/Lawler and I think the division will take shape again.

Just need to find the Andrade/Pennington and Gastelum/Story fights online from the prelims as I heard they were cracking fights.

Main event was ugly, but entertaining. Thought that Lawler was going to put him down in the third or fourth for sure, but dude never followed up enough when he dazed Hendricks (in my totally expert opinion, anyway). Agree with the decision, but I'm not convinced Hendricks is the best at 170. Thinking the welterweight title picture is going to be like 205 between chuck and Jones. The top ten guys have been beating each other like paper rock scissors for a while, now the title is going to get hot potatoes around. Wouldn't mind seeing Rory get the shot in Vancouver in June cause I totes plan to be there.

Condit injury sucked. Widely looked better than I thought, but dude is going to have trouble in a five round fight if he gets one. Speaking of, does Marquardt still have a job?

Haven't been sold on Lombard as a top guy in the UFC, but maybe he'll do better in the lighter weight class. Wonder if Shields gets Okami'd after a loss?

Jury looks good against Sanchez. Diego might even lose his gatekeeper status soon, and even with all those exciting fights its gonna be hard to say a fight against him means much if he picks up another loss. UFC is always nice to those OG TUF guys, but Sanchez is mirroring Leben's career here. Wouldn't mind seeing him fight Lauzon or Miller.

Ovince St. Preux win was sweet. Hopefully dude can keep it up and we can see some more stuff happening at 205, once premier division in the sport now maybe the 2nd or 3rd thinnest. Cormier and Johnson in the mix now is encouraging , tho.

Didn't see undercard, but I think it might be smart to get Brandao and Gastelum on ppv or live on a Fox show if they're going to be in their class title scenes soon. Crazy how far Story has fallen from being a win away from a title shot a couple years back.

That main event was fucking awesome. Hendricks deserved the win, but that was a close fight and Lawler looked good for the most part until that last round, even in the first two that he lost.

Condit/Woodley fight was good while it lasted. It sucks to see Condit go down like that, but it is what it is.

Jury/Sanchez was a real good fight as well. Sanchez was wild as usual and Jury just stopped everything he tried. I look forward to seeing Jury again, but that was a big win for him even if Sanchez isn't what he once was.

Shields/Lombard was just a disappointing fight. Lombard looked good in the first round, but the next two were just boring. Neither guy had anything going really and it was hard to watch. Shields Guillotine at the end was the best part about this fight and man if he would have got that :homer:

Saint Preux with that GOAT sneaky submission, I didn't know what the fuck was going on when the ref stopped it.

Good card overall other than the Shields/Lombard fight.

I'd say Rory needs to prove himself before he gets a crack at the belt. Lombard is starting to make waves and he is bout one or two fights out. Lawler isn't too far back with that close loss. Condit... unfortunately will be out for a while. Woodley looked good but yeah he looked not as in step the second round. But the dude is pretty huge for 170. Just hopefully he doesn't go the way of Anthony Johnson.

I think Shields should still be safe for a bit. I do wish he had more time after he locked in that sub. Shields is good. But Lombard is just a beast. I really wanna see Lombard/Lawler

Most likely getting Rory/Hendricks because it's the better storyline. Can tag Rory as GSPs deciple and s4ell the fight off that.

Not so sure about that Hendricks/Lawler match, sure looked like the 3rd and 4th rounds were 30-28 in my eyes, Hendricks was a complete zombie during those, but I think Lawler fucked up by not throwing kicks, think he would've knocked him out if he threw a head kick once in a while. Also don't think Lawler isn't fast enough for that Roy Jones shoulder roll and should go back to traditional stance, because he was getting taggee way too much
