Tim Boetsch demonstrated that his decision to drop down to Middleweight was absolutely the right choice, as he had no trouble dominating Kendall Grove to take an easy unanimous decision victory.

What was the high spot of this fight?

It was Boetsch's throw of David Heath that first got him noticed, and it was throws that got him the win here. Lots of impressive takedowns, but the best was a beautiful judo hip throw early in the 3rd round that essentially sealed Grove's fate.

Where do these guys go from here?

Boetsch is not quite ready for the very upper levels of the Middleweight division just yet, but he is prepared for a nice step up. I could see him facing the loser of the UFC 131 Demian Maia vs. Mark Munoz fight.

Grove is now on a 2 fight losing streak, and has lost 4 of his last 6. He seems like a real company man, and a staple of the UFC Middleweight division, but I just don't see what he has to offer at this point. I expect he'll be cut, making him only the 2nd Ultimate Fighter winner (aside from the Comeback season) to be released.

Watch it now, later, or never?

Boetsch emerged as a new player at Middleweight, so it's worth watching later for that maybe. But if you decide to watch it never, you won't miss too much.
