The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released their medical suspensions report for UFC 130 effective from May 28.

  • Event headliner Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson must have his left hand X-Rayed and if positive could be suspended until November 25 -- 180 days -- unless cleared by an Orthopedic Doctor before then. Jackson will serve a minimum suspension of 30 days with a 21 day no contact period. Opponent Matt Hamill has not been medically suspended.
  • Frank Mir must have his left ribs cleared by a Doctor or he will be similarly suspended for 180 days, otherwise a minimum suspension of 30 days with a 21 day no contact period. Mir had been concerned with the condition of his jaw but recently tweeted it was fine.
  • Roy Nelson has not been suspended but claims to be suffering from Walking Pneumonia, also via Twitter.
  • Stefan Struve has been suspended until July 28 -- 60 days -- and no contact for 45 days.
  • Brian Stann must have his right thumb X-Rayed and if positive could be suspended for 180 days unless cleared by an Orthopedic Doctor before then. Stann will serve a minimum of 30 days with a 21 day no contact period.
  • Jorge Santiago has a left orbital fracture that could see him out for 180 days on suspension unless cleared by an Ophthalmologist before then.
  • Rafaello Oliveira suspended until July 28 -- 60 days -- and no contact for 45 days.
  • Michael McDonald suspended 180 days unless left shoulder is cleared by an Orthopedic Doctor before then. 60 days minimum suspension with a 45 day no contact period.
