Tyson Fury could be back in WWE shortly.
According to a report from GiveMeSport, the undefeated boxing champion is currently in talks with WWE about a return to the company. Should a deal be reached, Fury could potentially appear at WWE Clash at the Castle from Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on Saturday, September 3, 2022.
Fury's one match in WWE came at Crown Jewel on October 31, 2019, when he defeated Braun Strowman via count-out. He would then perform on the November 8, 2019, episode of SmackDown from Manchester when he and Strowman were involved in a segment with Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel.
Since he last appeared on WWE programming, Fury has won three straight fights. He defeated Deontay Wilder in back-to-back bouts before earning a TKO victory over Dillian Whyte in April.
Fury spoke with GiveMeSport back in March in the lead-up to his fight against Whyte. He told the outlet that he was certain he'd be back in a WWE ring again eventually.
“One million percent, you will see me in the WWE again. One million percent,” Fury said.
